Latest Check-Ins

Very quiet town. Perfect stay for the border crossing the next day. We got fresh bread, could change our last rials here and even fresh water a bit further up the street on the right side.

Report Check-In

We slept on the flat area opposite of the petrol station. Very quiet, nobody came by or cared. Town is very sleepy, but it does have a small supermarket to spend your last rials.

Report Check-In

Although there is a big sign on top of door saying "camping center", when asked if it was ok to camp and put up tent, we were told no tents, only rooms at 1.800.000 rial... When we said that we would just wild camp elsewhere, the price was reduced to 500.000 rial, after some confusing haggle. The bikes were put in a laundry room and were given a simple room with no sheets, dodgey electricity and only cold water. The beds were quite uncomfortable so we just slept on the floor with a camping mattress. They wanted to keep our passport during night but we insisted that they took a photo as a copy and we kept them. In morning one of the small frame bags on the bike was open, so we were glad not to leave anything valuable inside and that we had locked the bikes to each other.... If it was now, maybe we would just camped in the trees behind the building without asking...

We would recommend to stop at the police station (not the military one as we did) to talk to them first. They will register you and guide you to the parking place near the first building on the left when you enter the village.

Quiet spot very close to the border. Looks a bit abandoned/under construction but is clean. No shade to put your car!
