Many Areas around the lake | Informal Campsite

Pretty area to camp and nice path around the lake for a walk or a run. Many people out for walks at night. Some cars in the middle of a Tuesday night woke us up and a bit windy but otherwise good stop.

Drove around a bit and think this is the best spot. You get a high vantage point views of the reservoir and the mountains plus sunrise and sunset. I guess a bit less private than the other spot but who cares. It’s better!

Used it as a day stop with my motorhome. Take Av. Sta Teresita and you will find a paved road until Capilla Ntra. Sra. del Pilar de la Peña. From there it is just a short part of gravel road.

Dormimos duas noites na beira da represa. Vários locais pra dormir ao redor da água. Lugar lindo e tranquilo. Acesso tranquilo sem 4x4.

We made it over the dam to camping spot beside a chapel. Big old trees, bbq place, benches and (almost) clean. Opted for this spot because of the heavy wind and dust.

Nice amd calm lake. Some people doing barbecue in the night and fishermen in the morning. Clean.

Nice place but no sun protection and in summer it was 35 degrees ! So we found the public park, not so nice but shadow...

ripio track around the lake with many areas to park. Some of areas with trees others without with a beautiful view over red mountains and green Valley. Access easy without 4x4. two roads to access : one with asphalt the other with a big down road under a bridge but we did it with a Citroën Jumper 7m long !
