Description
A fabulous little forest recreation site is on a lake popular with paddlers. It has 3 campsites and overflow space, wheelchair accessible outhouse and a dock. Other popular activities include camping, fishing, and hunting in the fall. Access may be prohibitive for large RVs and trailers as the road in is a little narrow. As with all forest recreation sites, there are outhouses but no other services.

The road turns dirt about 30km when coming from the south. Not too bad, although some potholes, except the last 1 km once you are on the campground road (1 km before google maps says to turn). There was only one site that seemed level, the other two very rutted ground. Pretty, but not sure worth the roads in unless you like that stuff. I got here in a 2wd ford transit. The lake and dock are very nice. I'll update if the way out to the north is any better.
Report Check-InBeautiful small rec site, very peaceful with lots of birds, amazing views to the snow-covered mountains. Good road in from the south, but Mitten FSR was still with too much snow and trees to be able to go out northbound to Hwy 37. No cell signal of course.
