Description
Basic, private single room, private bath with HOT WATER, secured courtyard parking for one vehicle and a small covered area able to fit 1-2 motorcycles, near restaurants and shops, friendly staff. S50/night (if you negotiate, or 60 standard). The beds are very comfortable and there's plenty of hot water. The price includes breakfast, but they also can prepare other meals if you like. See warning about insects entering at night.

Reserved rooms on booking.com for $20usd per night for two adults. We arrived 7pm and looked like closed. After much knocking they came to the door. No room for truck camper to park, so they found us a space just down the street. Gave us choice of rooms as no one else was there. Water was warm, not hot for us, maybe because of construction going on? We brought breakfast to our room because our son was sick, and the kitchen too cold. They cooked eggs for us and brought to the room. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Added photo from room balcony.
Report Check-InMixed feelings -- the hotel is beautiful, the owner is friendly, the price is right... BUT our room became invaded by literally 100s or thousands of little flies drawn by the light at night -- they could slip in the gap of the window. It was like camping.
Report Check-InIt's a fairly new basic hostal managed by Hector, a friendly local man. The beds are very confortable and there's plenty of hot water. They only serve breakfast at the moment, but they are planning on a full meal service in the near future; in fact, they are currently building new cabins, surrounded by a lovely garden, at a short distance from here. I paid 30 soles/ night for a single room with private bathroom. I don't know if it's temporary, but during 48 hours of my staying, Internet has been available for just a couple of hours.
