Something not right?

Description

A peninsula of dunes, tracks and beaches. 4x4 strongly recommended though not sure required. Quite windy while we were here but found a little cove for cover (GPS coordinates). A wonderland for off roading. Hard to find a completely secluded space but a ton of space to choose from. Access is via a poor dirt/gravel road that leaves the PanAm at km136. Enjoy!!

Latest Check-Ins

Sunday morning families start rolling in around 10 am for a day of fun. It was windy for us overnight and calmed down in the morning.

Report Check-In

Incredible! Indescribably beautiful! I could spend a week here, if it wasn’t for the reports of the armed robberies in the area. So only here for the day, with great sadness.

Report Check-In

Really nice place, similar to Paracas National Park (smaller), we saw lots of birds and a seewolf... really quiet... 4x4 needed to acces to some points but not mandatory to visit the place.

As others have described. Great place to spend a few isolated days. During the week saw no one. Chose a place high on the dunes/cliff overlooking the sea. Not so windy during my stay. Pleasant temps and breeze. 4-wheel drive appreciated for climbing. Easy to slip off packed/rocky track into soft sand.

A very nice place indeed, there are several private beaches to camp on. Lots of space but windy at the same time. No facilities, free! Water is cold and strong. No sand flies but regular flies. Very quiet overnight.

Wow! This was beautiful and difficult at the same time. The way we got in, not only 4x4 but also a differential locker, two recovery tracks, a high lift jack a lift mate, a shovel and four hours of digging was required. Still, highly recommended. Yes. Enjoy!..
