Under willow trees and right on the water, just beside a little stream. Go down the side road and then take a track down to the water. You can also cross the stream and park up in the trees on other side for more privacy. Very quiet. In low season no one bothered us, maybe different / busier in high season. A much nicer spot than the other wild camp to the west by the monument.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The area is signed no camping, but believe it applies to setting tents. There are multiple recent check-ins indicating successful overnight parking. I also stayed two nights without issue in a truck camper. Lots of day users here and along the beach, but quiet at night. beautiful

Report Check-InWe spent a very quiet night. This parking area is free and without services.
In high season it is best to arrive after 8 pm, when the cars are already leaving and there is a place available to park.

Pasamos una noche muy tranquila. Esta zona de estacionamiento es gratuita y sin servicios.
En temporada alta lo mejor es llegar despues de las 8 pm, cuando los autos ya se estan yendo y hay lugar dosponible para estacionar.
