No more camping at this cute little spot as they put up no camping signs.
Report Check-InSmall, but very great view of the river. We could fit a 23ft RV fine, and the road down to the spot is ok, still a bit snow at this time.
Report Check-Ingreat spot by the river, ideal for 1 car and 2-3 tents. very quiet at night except for the horn of the trains, not annoying tho. easy access 4x4 WD not necessary
Report Check-InWe pulled our 30 foot tow behind trailer into this spot and it was awesome. Very secluded! Only a few GIGANTIC mosquitos!
Report Check-InNice gravel road to one small spot by the river. next to a bridge (still?) under construction it seems. loads of small cute frogs & a shit ton of mosquitoes as mentioned before. didn't stay the night. Eleanor lake& Beach house was awesome though!
Report Check-InAfter spending a night here, I'm changing my review. Do not stay here unless you absolutely love mosquitos. If youre travelling in the early spring or late fall this would be great but definitely not during peak skeeter season.
Report Check-InThis a great spot, we accessed it our 18 foot Nissan citation with no issues. You can back right up to the river. The downside is that the mosquitos and no seeums are insanely bad!
Report Check-InInfested with mosquitos. No clear place to put your tent. Looks like a bridge had fallen. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.
Report Check-InThey have a cunstruction site there now for a bridge. We didn't stay because we weren't sure when workers will arrive.
Report Check-InQuiet place at the end of the road. Pretty decent cellphone coverage with Bell and Telus. There's a fire ring here with no shortage of dead fall for firewood.
Report Check-InAt the moment there is a construction at the river. They seem to build a new bridge. There is still a small place right before the river which is good.
Report Check-InJust tried to get there with my camper. There’s still too much snow, we had to stop 300m away from the spot
Report Check-InCan also Turn east onto Angus Horne road or across street from Petro Station Canada. Great Spot! Right on the creek. You can hear the rushing creek. We came in October so no misquotes. Fit my 22’ motor home home no problem. It appears to be a snowmobile area in the winter. Fire wood down in the area. You can still hear the railroad horns but can’t hear the tracks. Have one bar of cell coverage here. It’s a snow recreation area in winter so not accessible there are a couple pull outs before that maybe open.
Report Check-InThis is a really pretty "campsite" at the end of the road, overlooking the stream, where you pull in and have to back up about 50 feet to a place you can turn around. No kidding about the mosquitoes--they're huge and hungry!
Report Check-InNice little spot at the edge of the river.
No amenities.
A little bit difficult because of the rocks to set up the tent.
Lot of mosquitos
Mosquito City!! Small, but beautiful and peaceful and right on the river.
Report Check-Inwe found a great campsite along the Blue River. there are several other spots along the road but there is only one spot on the river. quiet and it's a beautiful little stream nearby. when you enter town you will turn at the heliski business area and weave your way back to this campsite. there is a campground pretty nearby.
