We slept two nights at this place, in August 2023. It is a very quiet place. Although the original GPS coordinates are accurate, there is no easy way to reach this place, using Google Maps because the road to access this parking lot is not visible to Google Maps. However, when using Google Earth, you can see it. To access the parking lot, you need to drive 300m to the west of the Atlantic Superstore, on King St.

Level parking lot at the side of Arena. We stayed here 1 night before catching the ferry to Newfoundland. Rained during the night and we had all our windows closed, so road noise was not a problem.

Paved parking lot at the Emira center rink. Large parking area, no problem for large rigs. Reasonably quiet for in town. Level. There were lots of cars racing around making noise somewhere nearby but not a problem here. Great option for close to the ferry.

We were the only ones at the parking lot and police officer, who came across, said it‘s no problem to stay for a night.
Not that quiet because of the road nearby.
