This spot is about 1km off the highway on a dirt track up the mountain. There is an antenna above the mountain, but no-one saw us and no-one bothered. There is a drinking water spring at the begining of the track. There are a few pic-nique spots after the spring. Or for a more secluded spot take the rough left track after the spring leading up the mountain. At the end here is a kind of flat spot and the highway is out of sight.

This place belongs to the military Zone and shooting area. There are signs in Persian warning the shooting. Keep away. There is a laundry shop in the city Quchan and the owner will take you to his big garden in nice nature outside the city for free. Just go to him. We were in his garden for one night and enjoyed his family hospitality without being bordered by them or anyone or police.
Report Check-InStayed here after leaving the park in the city in the middle of the night. Easy to find and veryyy quite night.
Report Check-InPerfect and quiet spot to camp, after crossing the border with Turkmenistan. We took the dirt road on the GPS coordinates, and parked up on a hill overlooking the valley. Plenty of campspots here. We couldn’t find the spring either.
Report Check-InThis spot is a good option to stay at a silent place close to Quchan. But there is no spring anymore.
Report Check-Invery nice place to stay if you're heading for the Turkmenistan border. We took the dirt road a little further uphill were we parked our car on a flat spot.
