Tried to fill our American tanks. The employee was very friendly and about to fill our tanks, and even spoke English - however his manager came out and said it’s not allowed.

they told us they don't refill during covid.

Its not a gas station but a factory. They are able to fill a gas bottle if you provide the adapter. Our bottle was from 1988 :) so they wont refill it as it is over 10 years old. They can test it, but for that they need to send it to an other company. So no option for us. And at this place they dont sell bottles to customer. Only at gas stations.
Make sure you are there on weekdays bevor 2pm. After that the guy who writes the invoice is gone.

Amazing place with extremely friendly and helpful staff! Big propane tank maintenance and filling place, so they aren’t totally geared for client interaction, which means you need cash - one of the employees actually put up 127 Pesos because they didn’t have change for a 1,000 peso bill - super-nice people! They topped off our US tank, and we paid 6,127 Pesos for 2kg - it was about a 20-min wait. Highly recommend this place!

So cool. In Argentina you go to a little gas shop or a Ferreteria that fills your gas bottle. In Chile you can go to the biggest plant in the country and just walk in! They filled our german 2,5 kg Propan Gaz bottle with our North America adaptor. Took a while, paid 2700 peso for 3.8 litres of propane. Great!

Filled my two 10 lb USA propane bottles for 11,000 CLP. Did mention that they weren't supposed to fill foreign bottles but did so without problem. These bottles have the standard POL and QCC filler - didn't see them do it but I think some of their larger tanks use POL valves. Very friendly - this is a huge plant!
