Little gravel road near Haines Road Hwy. Near the river, multiple spaces
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The First Nation sign says no camping without permission on developed settlement land but this is not in that category. The sign even asks visitors to pack out their own trash so it looks like camping is fine. The great thing is it’s some distance from the highway so you can’t hear it at all.
Report Check-InThis spot was already occupied so we drove the road further to second place with a fire ring. We did a hike at Kathleen Lake, came back in the evening and the same place was free. Had two quiet nights except little thunderstorms (no mosquitos!) but these weren’t that bad.
Report Check-InBusy spot, lots of campers here on a weekend. Mosquitos galore! Don't expect to be able to fill water from the creek as it is very silty. Nice view on the mountains.
Report Check-InThe land alongside the river belongs to the First Nation and they don’t allow camping there!!!
Only a very small corridor both sides of the highway is Government land where you can boondock.
Very nice place along the river. You can see a beautiful sunrise. Lot of spots along the river. We were with our 26 ft skoolie. Near the day trails. Very beautiful and quiet.
Report Check-InVery nice place near the river with view on the mountains. There are lot of spots to camp and it is really quiet, you will hear only the river
Report Check-InSuper bel endroit!
Report Check-InWow, best spot ever. Not for any rig. Gravel is flat. Cellular working 1 -2 bars.
Report Check-Invery good, some places near the small road, some direct at the river, for all types of campers, mosquito
Report Check-InNice spots by the river. Quiet and peaceful with the sound of the river. Lots of mosquitos during our stay though!
Report Check-Injust wanna update the place. still a great place to stay, go a little further than the marker, you will find a pullout close to the river. enjoy and keep it clean!
Report Check-Inbeautiful place. lots of room, firepits, right by the very cold Quill creek!
Report Check-InLe spot par excellence, vue incroyable des deux côtés, plusieurs endroits accessibles le long de la rivière et lacés pour faire du feu… génial!
Report Check-InAwesome spot. Nice view of the park, and the wind and river noise drowned out any highway noise. Accessible with 2WD
Report Check-InAmazing spot and easy access for 2WD. You will sleep to the sound of rushing water. Nice sunset over the mountains. Fire rings. No amenities.
Report Check-InAmazing site if you can get on the riverbed. Great location for exploring Kluane. Minimal bugs, lots of space between sites, highly recommend.
Report Check-InGood winter access. They plow out the parking lot next to the road. Had place to myself, zero noise from highway. Would stay here again.
Report Check-InSuperbe endroit assez loin du chemin rivière pêche montagnes pour pickup camper ou moin
Report Check-InGreat camping in the Quill Creek river bed. There are many places with easy access. The noise of the river washes out every traffic noise from the highway.
Report Check-InInitially camped about 300 meters off the highway close to the river. An hour later, the river had surrounded our camper. Moved down to this site where the bank is higher and the mosquitoes are more plentiful. Lovely place otherwise. One other camper in the area.
Report Check-InAwesome place, far enough from road to not here traffic. Great views in morning sunrise.
Report Check-Ingood spot. many places . either right next to the hiway or go further in. coming from haines junction look for dirt road to the left about 300-400 ft before the bridge.
Report Check-InNice and quiet spot. Access to the river, old fireplaces. Would recommend!!
Report Check-InVery nice place away from the highway. Various places for vans. Would stay the tree again.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot by the river. We stayed at the other side of the road. Fire rings and wood available. Quiet. Free
Report Check-Ingreat spot near the river, many spot along the river, don't hesitate to drive a little to find a great one. Many fire pit, but to windy to make fire.
Report Check-InGreat gravel pullout on both sides of the hwy. along the river. Room for several RVs on each side. Great views of the mountains. Camped in a 22 ft Class C with a tow and had no problems turning around. 2 bars on telus which is used by ATT. Very little road noise.
