Latest Check-Ins

Stayed one night. Didn't see any bears by the river this late into the year. Did get a mouse in our van staying here though. Park away from the grass and piles of rocks.

Report Check-In

We stayed here 2 nights so that we could go to the boardwalk early in the morning and again late in the evening. Quiet and but very popular. Saved us from recrossing the border multiple times.

Report Check-In

Great location. Enough room for 5 or so vehicles (vans/cars), maybe 3 larger trailers. A ton of no-see-ums. I only had one light on inside my van but these little buggers found there way to me and in the van. Starlink activated just fine.

A nice lady at the gift store in Hyder suggested we stay here. She suggested that on a Friday night, we may have local visitors but none on Sunday evening. This is a nice big and flat gravel pit that we had all to ourselves. Easy to find and get to.

Report Check-In

Great spot, very quiet. The short track to this old quarry is fairly narrow but opens up into a large area. We stayed 2 nights and despite torrential rain and large puddles on the way in and in the parking area as it was gravel there was no worries about getting stuck in mud.

Large gravel lot as everyone indicates. It is the first right turn after the Titan Trail parking. We are here with 8 other RVs tonight, still room for more.

Report Check-In

Spacious site, back away from the road a bit. Close to bear viewing platform. Room for quite a few vehicles including large 5th wheel trailers.

Report Check-In

This is an excellent camping location. It's spacious, discreet, and very quiet. It is, however, a highway for bears walking down from the hills to the river. One big, lazy black bear shook our van at 6:00 am on his way to work.

Report Check-In

No bear visited us. We were alone by ourselves. Great place.

Stayed here because too much going on further up the road. Lots of trucks. Big trees struck by lightning laying on the road and an avalanche so I couldn't reach Summit View.

Report Check-In

Very good place for camping during the bear season at Fish Creek. Big open area only 1 mile from the wildlife viewing area, 100 m and totally hidden from the road, very quiet.

Report Check-In

Spacious place where it was a quarry, wooded area and unobecuated area, can be made fire, install tents, pay attention. A family of bears cross every day here

Nos quedamos una noche aquí. Espacio muy amplio también sombra, era una antigua cantera
Ojo una familia de osos cruzan por aquí todos los días

Report Check-In

convenient place, black bear just came through

Report Check-In

It's a huge gravel spot in the forest with an old little quarry at the end, we decided to stay in the 2nd iOverlander spot instead (closer by the river with view of the mountains)
