Beautiful waterfall. We are in the rainy saison so it was really full of water ! They now ask 400 pp, and you need to pay 1200 to have a pique-nique there but we negotiate and just pay the entrance fees. The view from the bridge a bit more in the east is beautiful too.

Nice and big waterfall ! We can stop to have lunch with a view or bath in the river when there is not too much water (go on the bottom right side of the restaurant). The view from the road when you go west after that is pretty amazing for a long distance :)

New price for 2023 is 350 per person. The restaurant wasn’t open otherwise would have made a good lunch stop. They have picnic tables so easy to make your own lunch with a nice view. Perhaps nice to camp but if you take a right and drive a few minutes you’ll see the whole waterfall for free (just a bit further away). So in hindsight, didn’t feel like it was a necessary stop 🤷🏻‍♀️

WAUW worth a visited! 600 kwanza for 2 persons GREAT to see! There is restaurant and picnick tabels great!

Beautiful spot. Camping possible beside the river, at the bottom of waterfall. We paid 5000 kw (11 euro) after negociación with guards. There are swowers and toilets but no water, not working. There is also a bar. All a bit abandonned, as many other places in Angola. Although there is fantastic natural place to visit

Nice small waterfalls. Entrance to them is 250 Kwanzas per person. You could sleep also there in the camping zone with your car for 5000 Kwanzas 2 persons. They have also tents that you could sleep for 10.000.
The place has a bar and a restaurant and also barbacues
You can take a shower in one of the waterfalls and you can swim! (ask before the guards).

Cool waterfalls (not quite Kalandula but definitely worth a visit too!)

We were able to camp right next to the river at the bottom of the falls. Initially they asked 3000K but we haggled down to 2000K (2 people in a Merc sprinter campervan).

Not sure a big rig could make it down to the bottom ("big car"/campervan no problems getting to the river side where they launch the swan-pedal-boats) but the carpark at the top has space for a big rig and it may well be possible to camp up there.

They are just finishing the new loo/shower block (now flushing and good standard, through at the time of writing there was no doors!)

The falls have a tourist attraction thing going on with a small restaurant/cafe and boats to hire, you can swim in the river at the bottom. Apparently it's busy at the weekends...

Nice waterfall. Entrance is 150 and camping is 2000 per tent. I tried to negotiate because I was alone but they wouldn't discount at all so I left and camped for free down the road.

Very nice place to stay for a while. They have a pricelist for 2018. Just entrance is 350kwz pp. Camping is 2000kwz per night. We camped and they wanted us to pay for the entrance to but we refused because then you pay double; for camping and entrence. After a discussion about it they accepted we would only pay 2000kw a night for camping.
Very nice to swim in the river. Only thing is, be aware of all the glass that is around the place. in the sand and in the water too. So watch your tires and feet.

As Anja and Lucas stated, highly recommend campsite. We paid 150 kwanzas per person and 1500 kwanzas for the car. Nobody disturb us! Bucket toilet, but not shower. We made some fire near the river without any problem. We also swim there, really good!!

Beautiful mid-sized Waterfall. You can rent Pedal-Boats here to tour the River and get close to the Falls. One Boat is a Swan... :) Entrance is now 150 Kz pP. There is a nice Beach there, swimming in the River is very blissful. We camped here for 2 Nights. Toilets available (Bucket), no Shower. Security at Night. Price per Car (2 People) was 2.000 Kz but we got it down to 1.000 Kz per Car. There were some Locals around but compared to how close the Falls were to the City it was very quite. We bought fresh Fish from some Fishermen and grilled them on our Campfire. Highly recommended Camp Site.
