Nice place to stay for a night with a paoramic view. Hidden from the road. Check for a red satellite with white letters, that's the spot to enter. There is a big empty space were you are able to camp with an amazing view of the mountains surrounding you. Just more in the back you can find the best spot, take the slope down and park there to have the best view and enjoy the sounds of howler monkeys to there thing from a distance. Quiet at night.

We spent a moonlit night surrounded by a breathtaking landscape. A few locals came to smoke at times but quickly left. We are in fact hidden from the road even if we can hear the vehicles. We recommend this spot.
Report Check-Inwe stayed 3 nights and liked it a lot. Wind only first evening, made it up with 3,60 m high and 2,40 wide, needed difflock and high clearance for entrance.
Report Check-InGreat place to cool off. Excellent views. Sunset and sunrise are spectacular. Little to no traffic after 10 pm.
During the day it’s possible for a tour bus to stop. Which is lovely to meet people curious about overlanding adventure and even get a taste of the local drink.
When you drive up there are a couple of ruts but even small cars made it up.
Big rigs can easily fit on the top flat patch and then there is a lower lot for one truck / van. The entire location can easily accommodate 4 rigs.
Wind varies. One night the wind shut off completely at 9 pm but honestly even with the wind it’s lovely and refreshing if you’ve been melting on the coast.
Report Check-InNice but way too windy, so think about it if there is a bit of wind blowing as it often increases during night
Report Check-Invery good place with an Amazing vue and great sunset ! we were 3 cars this night and it has the place for one more. A group of locols came at 7pm with music to smoke but they stay only 30minutes and they were very nice. I recommand this place.
Report Check-InWonderful panoramic view, very quiet but very strong wind. Easy to access and free!
Report Check-InSeems like a great flat spot, but we couldn’t make it up in our fwd van! Short, but steep rocky hill to the spot. Rain didn’t help!
Report Check-InWe found the spot (its still for sale), but due to the wind - there was aloooot of wind, we decided to camp at las Colinas, just a little bit down the road. The view was okay at this place but it’s much better at las Colinas.
Report Check-InOn the road to the panomaric view campsite we past this lot just next to the road witch is currently for sale. Happy we found it!! Hope this lot wont be sold for a long time :)
Report Check-InNice spot. Easy to find. Some firewood nearby, thanks for sharing. A note of caution - we have a roof top tent and the winds picked up massively during the night. They got bad enough the airlift from the wind was lifting the car through the tent. Eventually we had to abandon the tent for the interior of the car until 4am when it was safe to take everything down. Better for an interior sleeping vehicle.
Report Check-InVery nice little night stop. Great views. Access is the dirt-track on the up-hill side of the hill (the lower access is blocked). The area stays level at first, but that area is still in sight of the road. You can tuck around the corner out of sight of the road, but there it's no so level. We found some rocks around to put under the wheels to level-up. Larger rigs will fit but won't be able to turn around. We found it easier to reverse 100m down the track and around the corner to get out of view of the road. (I think fullbelly's entry below refers to La Colina nearby, not to this site)
Report Check-InAlso locked up tight on July 9, 2017. No one around other than a small dog grinning at me through the fence.
Report Check-InNice place to stay for a night with a paoramic view. Hidden from the road. Quiet at night.
