Price is 2 x 40 pp for agua azul falls. Very beautiful falls but very turistic. A lot of vendors. You can swim at the beginning and at the end of the falls. There is like a walk along several falls with points of views. We were on a rainy day so it wasn't full but I think it can feel really crowded. I would advice to do cascada of Roberto Barrios : almost as beautiful, but less turistic and you can swim anywhere. Agua azul is stunning nonetheless.

This river is absolutely stunning! One of the most beautiful rivers in Mexico! You can swim in the natural pools, or walk from pool to pool while climbing the waterfalls. It is possible to do great aquatic hiking, the stones do not slip. Price is still 2 x 40 pesos per adult, children are free.

Stayed here one night, absolute calm and ok spot.
No one bothered us, we even slept with open backdoor due to the heat.
Place is free! But entrance to the falls is 2 times 40p/p.
Waterfalls are beautyful! It is touristy and you feel it with all the vendors along the river,
BUT after the loneliness of Chiapas we didn't really mind and the area is huge so you can have a pool niche for yourself for hours. We went up the river the next morning and were swimming and enjoying some pools for 3 hours and didn't see anyone.
We tried 2 restaurants for dinner and breakfast. We felt like it was good price/value especially with the empanada offers and the locals were happy for having customers. Also late evening walks are nice, because all the shops are closed and all the tours are gone

paid 25 pesos by people for the road (ticket) and 40 pesos by people for the cascade. we park 2nights and no more fees. we asked before and people say yes but
local came at 8pm in the dark to have 50 pesos for "camping at night". we refuse and he leaves us. stay at night is free.

Only had to pay once - 40pesos p person. Worth it considering the huge size of the falls/river and the fact there were a lot less tourists now because of the pandemic.

Report Check-In

We had to pay twice. First 25 pesos per person and after 40 pesos per person. We tried to argue, it didn't work out.

Breath-taking waterfalls! Insanl3blue and beautiful, 50 pp to enter, you pay at the entrance of the village kind of. It's pet friendly!!

price is now 50pesos per person, it's on the ticket. pay at the first booth, they check the ticket at the second area. lots of vendors selling their souvenirs, food, kids trying to earn money guarding your car or washing it. lots of local tourists here and very busy but we still found this place to be worth the busy-ness. it's incredibly beautiful. walk higher up the falls to have more space to swim with less people around.

Price is 40p pp....it’s on the ticket. We paid at second entrance as nobody was at the first. Busses start arriving at 8am, and a lot more at 9am. Avoid the weekends if you can, or be sure to be here after 5pm, even during the week.

We arrived on Sun evening and not to many others around. Water was clear and refreshing. We stayed the night, it rained all night, and the falls were muddy and overflowing in the morning. Quite the sight, but not as nice as being clean and able to swim.

Beautiful falls, but very busy and many tourist stalls next to them and a couple of tour busses worth of people so not a tranquil spot. We visited on a public holiday so they may be much nicer mid week.
We were a bit disappointed for the price (50pp) because we didn’t feel like spending long here.

Didn't get to the casetas - there are men who come up to you along the road to charge you the entrance ticket.
Entry was 40 pesos - no signs that say how much it officially is though so you might get lucky and be charged 30?

there is two 'caseta de cobro' where they want you to pay. you just need to do it once. The first is more expensive (40pesos) than the second (30). no reason, both of them are valid tickets. they just laught at us when we realised.
