Darya guesthouse and Amin guesthouse | Hotel

I was in Darya guesthouse for 2 nights (10€/night for double bed room). Simple, clean, and good location. The owner is very nice, you can ask him for tea at anytime. And it was possible to put my cycle inside (had to climb up some stairs, not possible for motorbike).
no dorms. wifi slow but fonctionnal.

I've been to the Amin Hotel, the place is very dirty but for 1 night you can put up with it since it's central and has parking and I paid $4 for a room with a shared bathroom.

We stayed at Amin Guesthouse. Cheap place, friendly people. Tailored to locals.

Wifi is really bad. Place not super clean, but definitely ok for the price.

There's a private courtyard where we could keep our bicycles, and where we had our food.

We payed 2,500,000 IRR for a double room with bathroom. Negotiation not possible for us.

Warning. These guesthouses are no longer associated. You may not be able to stay at Darya and keep your bike at Amin Otel. Darya is on street, no security parking ONLY. Ask in advance.

Update on Amin GH.
In the morning when I check out, my phone cable on my motorbike was missing. The bike is parked in the courtyard & gate is closed at night. Who would hv steal it if not the guesthouse ppl or the guest?

Paid IRR1,500,000 for a double room with bathroom after discount (because I'm alone). Cleanliness is so-so. One of the pillow cover obviously not a fresh one & has hairs. Wifi works great. Parking is ample. The reception cant speak English but you can communicate using Google Translator.

Darya Guesthouse: Clean rooms with a/c, bathroom and good WiFi. Breakfast on the rooftop included but no parking, you need to park at:
Amin Guesthouse. They have rooms with or without bathroom, good WiFi and a big yard with trees for parking and sitting around :-) No breakfast included.

lovely place. stayed one week here. friendly staff working there.
rooms were clean with own bathroom and fridge. chairs and table.
Iranian breakfast included, egg, bread, honey, cream. sufficient and big.
prices now
10 € / 1 person room
15 € / 2 person room
25 € / 3 person room
30 € / 4 person room
prices negotiable.
I got for myself 2 person room for $10.-
washing machine works also good.
Wi-Fi is okay not for streaming

Amin Guesthouse: very clean and friendly, nice place to stay! We payed 1.200000 Rial (7,50 €) for a big double room (actually triple) with own bathroom. We didn't bargain, as we think the price for us is cheap and the Iranians have a difficult time because of the problems of the rial.

After 4 weeks Iran, that was the last and, unfortunately, the worst hostel.
- unfriendly and unsympathetic owner (Amin?)
- 800'000 Rial for double room (without window, floor and walls are tiled)
- 300'000 Rial for laundry BUT clothes were still dirty. Maybe they hand washed it? (we got the money back)
- when I asked for the clothes, we found it spread all over the 'garden'
- the 'garden' is no garden!
- on the opposite of the hostel there is a religious Institution (?) where at one night the music was really, really loud.

The only advantage here is the parking.

I highly recommend to take the time for looking for some new alternatives in Tabriz (I checked the other ioverlander hostels as well but more or less the same).

Stayed at Amin Otel - the staff is really nice but I couldn’t get the previous price, minimum they would do for me was 700.000 per night (one person, in a room with shared toilet).

Lots of overlanders staying here, the place and area are nice. Unfortunately I had to leave after 1 night, I got bitten by bedbugs - no one else seems to have complained about it so far, so maybe I just got unlucky with my room (106) but still.

Very friendly owner, safe parking for bikes and cars that fit under the entrance. Have a close look at the picture provided.
Double room with private bathroom 100.000, 4 bed room with shared bathroom 100.000, double or twin 70.000.
Washing machine 30.000.
Very good shower, kitchen available. Very central location.

We stayed in Amin Guesthouse. They wanted much more money in the beginning, with the overlander app I managed to bargain it down to 550000 aswell. Keep the date updated, that helped me a lot ☺️

Paid 550 000 per night for 2 and motorcycle, very spacious parking, quite narrow backstreets to get to the hotel though. hotel is very basic but you pay for what you get. staff is very polite.

Guesthouse Darya, simple but clean. You can also stay in the guesthouse of his son Amin (we did), wich is just 100 meters far in a quit alley. There is save privat parking for the motorbikes or car. They have a garden where you can eat while ramadan. You can use the kitchen. Its in the centre close near the bazar.
