Peru
There is a new bigger viewing platform here where you can see 3 of the formations of the Nasca Lines. Right off the highway, it costs S/.6 per person.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
6 soles pp and jou can climb the new tower and see 3 figures. one is cut in two by the road! do not miss it, amazing
Report Check-InNice and high tower to see some of the figures. 6 soles per person. Open Monday-Sunday, from 8 to 18:00. It’s definitely a way to feel the art and intelligence of pre Hispanic culture for much cheaper than flying over the lines (around USD 70 + 77 soles in taxes). Don’t miss it.
Report Check-InOld tower. Lower than the one in front of it. It’s closed.
Report Check-In6 soles per person, nice views from the tower. Good stop for 15 minutes
Report Check-InAs described you see the tree, frog and half of a lizzard. 6 sol posted a pic with all the pricing and the map of the lines.
Report Check-InLike previously say, the price is now at 4 sole. But it good to see those 3 formation.
the new tower is build, but still not open yet. In the next few month I think.
Price increased to 4soles pp.
In the process of building new viewing tower.
Still worth a stop.
They are now building a new, higher and bigger tower on the other side of the road. Avoid visiting at around 11 am - too many people and the guards use a whistler to tell young it is time to descend the tower- not enough time to enjoy and take pictures! 3 soles pp
Report Check-InThis one was worth stopping at. There is a place to park across the road or pull off on the wide shoulder. The three figures are restored figures and are excellent. Forget the viewing platform further north. There's not much to see.
Report Check-InThe best spot to see the lines from the ground. You can see the tree, hands/bird and the lizard. We paid 3s pp.
The scenic flights have an alarming reputation for safety violations so, if you plan to do a flight, we were advised not to pay until we had physically inspected the plane we would be going up in. Since I have zero qualifications to determine what is and isn't a safe plane we decided to pass!
Report Check-In3 sol far adult, for wiew 3 petroglyphes
petite pause pour voir 3 petroglyphes depuis un mirador metallique
3 sol for adults
2 sol for students
1 sol for children
Just two figures visible
Stayed overnight at the parking lot, you can use the porta potti toilets. Of course not a very nice spot, but ok if you arrive late and are not sensible for road noises.
Report Check-InPrice went up to 3 soles pp but gives you a good view of 3 of te drawings in case you don't want to take the plane.
Report Check-InStunning : Hand and tree .. For rest you have to take flight...too close to highway for camping
Report Check-InVery cool view from the top. It was s/2 p/p and there are vendors outside selling stuff. One of them even spoke irish :) bathrooms across the road
Report Check-In2S pP to climb up for a view minutes. Had a good view as the sun was setting. Doesn't seem like a great place to stay overnight though since parking is literally right by the highway. Maybe ok for emergency.
Report Check-InThere is a little viewing platform off the road here where you can see two of the formations of the Nasca Lines. Right off the highway, it costs S/.2 per person. You could probably park overnight, there are porta potties, but there would be a lot of road noise.
