in case anyone thought they could park here for a few hours just to visit Santa Fe, it's now closed to the public. there is 30 min parking for visitors only.
Report Check-InWe checked with the visitors center and were told overnight parking was no longer allowed, that you could be towed. Decided to move on.
Report Check-InNice space and place. So easy to walk to places, but limited free space. Santa Fe is beautiful and welcoming.
Report Check-InGreat, easy place to park in the heart of dwtn! When we arrived there were big signs prohibiting overnight parking so we asked at the visitors center. The very helpful employee let us know that a new mgmt company had taken over and asked them to quit saying it was okay to park overnight. Bummer. There were a few RVs there that looked like they hadn’t moved for a while, but we left not wanting to break rules/get towed.
Report Check-InGreat spot to stay within a 5 min. walk to the center. Tourist information center said if the rv spots are taken it’s no problem to stay in the bus parking area as well. Check with them. Town was too decadent bourgeois for us so we only spent a night but I can’t see why you could not spend a few here.
Report Check-InAs said before only 2-3 places available for overnight staying as two official Vehicles from New Mexiko are parked permanently here. There is a yellow sign "RV Parking". Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Some street noise at night but not bothering - we stayed two nights. Very helpfull staff at the visitor center. Recommended.
Report Check-InAs described before. Quiet in week-end. Not level. Not for big rigs. No service. Close to the old town on foot. Free shuttle to get around. We had melting snow falling the day we arrived.
Quiet residential street next to a dry creek bed. There was an RV there that seemed to be a long-term fixture as well as a few other overnight campers. Conveniently close to downtown Santa Fe.
Report Check-InSpent a quiet night here last night and probably will spend the night again tonight after touring Santa Fe for the day. The RV spots were taken by New Mexico RV and truck and trailer so we are a class B and just parked in one of the parking stalls by the end where there is grass/trees.
Report Check-InThis is a public parking ONLY after 5pm and before 7am during the week. On weekend you can stay all day.
Report Check-InGreat place for day and overnight. Quiet Some streetnoise but not to much
Report Check-InIt’s true. Here at the visitors center, in the middle of Santa Fe. What could be more convenient? There are technically only 3 spots but I see another camper at another spot in the parking lot. We got here around 1:00PM mid week in October and the few spots rotated in and out with folks passing through. We checked at the visitors center and it was cool.
Report Check-InJust 3 spots. 2 where taken by the visitor center rigs. Since it was a holiday we could park anywhere. Wifi is fast. No toilets available or nearby.
Report Check-InWhen we came to check at the visitor center, they say it's was maybe allow for a nigth, but they were not full of information. We choose to go at the Sam club instead. A
Report Check-InVisitor center parking lot. Fairly quiet at night, but activity starts around 6am.
Report Check-InFree, Safe and quiet day and overnight parking in the Heart of Santa Fe. Only few steps to Plaza Central.
