Description

chilled with a few beers at the bar here on the lakeshore. very nice people, they have a security guard at night and said he would keep an eye in us and promised we would be safe. we offered a little cash but they said it was fine. great views and good breeze. no facilities, they have a toilet, and there is open WiFi nearby.

Not a good place! we were here on Sunday night and very loud different music (all night) and lot of drunk people. you cannot even get out your camper at night because of dogs very aggressive. maybe different on week day but I'm not sure as the music at night come to the night guard.

We were here at Saturday night. Very friendly welcoming at 4pm but lot of music and some drunk people (not aggressive) we left at 9pm because of the 3 bars musics.

Very nice, safe place, friendly people, just use the Restaurant!

Great quiet free place right on the water, perfect for swimming. Take some care with soft sand spots when parking. The only traffic is locals, fishermen and very occasional tourists. Great view with an almost constant breeze to high wind blowing. It keeps the heat down nicely. No size restrictions for vehicles. I would definitely park here again. Parked here with a 25" Class C.

Fantastic view and great breeze. No shade to be had here so bring your own.
Ormigas Bravas... But not everywhere.
At least one of the bars offers a basic dinner service for 100 cords.

Great little place. There are 2 bars next to each other, we sat on the left one and had a couple of beers and some food. Great ambiance on the Sunday afternoon/evening. Lots of locals having a drink and dancing, kids playing in the water. Quiet around 10PM. We asked to stay parked for the night and the owner said no problem. Used their (no so clean) toilet during the night too. Great Lake view. Very windy.

Now there are 2 lake shore bar and one in construction. People either side are very welcoming, it was quite at night , superb sunrise with the 2 volcanoes , fishermen arrived after sunrise with lots of fish! No facility in the bar but no noise and music at night! Could be noisy on weekend! Felt very safe.

We spent one night there, and the views are truly amazing. We took a few beers, chatted with the owners and watchman, and were allowed to stay for free.
BUT this night was not quiet at all (even though it was a tuesday): first we were woken up by the police at midnight, who wanted to have a look at our papers, then at 3:30 am started the loud music, which didn't stop after. This place is the gathering place for the fishermen before going to the lake.
