(approximate). Much better place to camp as there are numerous large boulders to block the wind and view from the road. Several great places to turn off and camp several miles before and after the given coordinates. free
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Perfect area to camp and get an early start on the lagunas route. We found the best turn out spots to be about 1 km before (coming from Uyuni) this point. Some of the side roads lead to smaller tracks where you can leave the trail and drive behind the walls of rock.Report Check-In
Great first night camp site for a southbound lagunas route expedition.
Beautiful spot with interesting rock formations surrounding all sides. Easy to find a place sheltered from the wind and the road, not that there are many cars on the road at night.
A local driving a llama heard happened to come by as we were arriving and asked us for some bread or food. We felt ok sharing and gave 10/b instead.Report Check-In
We loved camping here. Rock formations are beautiful. We were totally hidden from the road and protected from some of the wind. There was enough dead wood that we were able to make a campfire.Report Check-In
