Finca Hotel Salento | Established Campground

The pictures and descriptions suggest you drive towards the Hotel and that you can park your RV or roof tent car on the parking lot. NOT ANYMORE.

Take the same exit from the road but instead of going right towards the hotel the Clamping is at the left hand side sign posted “Glamping”. The office is at the old English red telephone booth.
WiFi available, open air hot shower and one bathroom. Simple, but clean. And level parking.

At the main road is a or more restaurants. Salento is only 10 minutes away. And this place is better than the town iOverlander camping with no level parking.

I payed Cop 30.000 per night for one person in a rooftop tent.

Different points on Overlander but all belonging to Finca Salento (camping, glamping, hostel and CC parking then special CC space to come)

The Palacio family welcomes you to a superb finca, in a quiet green setting.
The son Andrès is very pleasant and welcoming: (+57) 323 321 20 51

For now, you can stay the night in the hotel parking lot, and benefit from wifi, toilets and cold showers, for $20,000 pp.

During 2024, they will create a special space for CC!
Spaces are planned at the foot of their property (near current campsite, last pictures) with:
-Wireless
-electricity/water
-toilets/hot showers
-kitchen/common space

But Andrès can already organize horseback riding, outings to observe animals or the surrounding waterfalls.
The space is perfect for children with the superb garden, swings and animals on the property.
Possibility of participating in cow milking 🐄

Diferentes puntos en Overlander pero todos pertenecientes a Finca Salento (camping, glamping, albergue y estacionamiento CC y luego espacio CC especial por venir)

La familia Palacio le da la bienvenida a una magnífica finca, en un entorno verde y tranquilo.
El hijo Andrés es muy agradable y acogedor: (+57) 323 321 20 51

Por ahora, puedes pasar la noche en el estacionamiento del hotel y beneficiarte de wifi, baños y duchas frías, por $20,000 por persona.

¡Durante 2024 crearán un espacio especial para CC!
Se prevén espacios al pie de su propiedad (cerca del camping actual, ultimas fotos) con:
-Inalámbrico
-electricidad/agua
-baños/duchas de agua caliente
-cocina/espacio común

Pero Andrés ya puede organizar paseos a caballo, salidas para observar animales o las cascadas de los alrededores.
El espacio es perfecto para los niños con el magnífico jardín, los columpios y los animales de la propiedad.
Posibilidad de participar en el ordeño de vacas 🐄

Entrance is the same for El ranchito de Salento. Continue up the path and follow signs for Finca Hotel. Beautiful views, quiet (aside from the cows), nice restaurant and hotel. Free coffee. We paid 20,000 not sure if it's per person or per vehicle. Restaurant is only open until 2, but you can hang out inside. Bathrooms and the best hot showers at a informal campsite we have had! The owner is so incredible nice!!
