We stayed here after doing the route north to south so almost at the end of the route. Stunning finish to this beautiful scenery. Not a single car passed as the main road is going around the other side of the lagoon. we parked our car on the side road of this road around the route because the ground there was harder than on the sandy beach around the lagoon.
still some flamingos there. Windy around 8 to 10 pm but completely stopped later.
We totally loved this place.
Very nice camp spot at a bit of a distance to the laguna, but with a great view. From here it is only 16km to the main road.
Report Check-InNice flat grassy area, a stream runs next to the Laguna to grab water. Flamingos and snow peaks. Super cold at night.
Report Check-InNo flamingo today... the laguna is nearly dry, not enough water for the flamingo I guess. No snow. -15°C at night.
