Description

Large private campsites with own kitchenette, ablution, fireplace, electricity all on grass and shady trees. The showers come with towels and 5l drinking water per day. Neat and clean and beautiful restaurant, lounge and pool with deck overlooking the Okavango River just about 8kms from Divundu.
Very well worth the N185 pp per day

Lovely luxurious place. We also did the couples massage and it was really good. Compared to European prices, it is a steal. Go for it!

Private ablutions are clean, WiFi didn't really work.

Very beautiful shaded campsites close to the Okavango river. Each with own ablution, lapa and braai. Electricity, strong cell reception. Fantastic restaurant and bar right on the river. Staff is super friendly and professional. The owner Deon gave us very helpful info on what part of the Bwabwata park to visit for birds (Mahango Core Area) and what for Buffalo and elephants (Buffalo Core Area) They only have 4 campsites so I would recommend to book in advance.

Report Check-In

Good facilities and location but camping sites are away from the river with no view . Staff friendly and the massages in the spa were incredible and well needed . Prices are 230 ND per person camping

10 weeks of travelling Namibia and this is our favourite camp site! They simply go over and beyond! You get a lovely bathroom under thatched roof with a fluffy towel, grassy area and lots of privacy. The facilities you have access to like pool and restaurants areas are lovely with stunning views. The spa is simply the cherry on top. We paid 950 for a couples massage (1 hour each) and loved it! Came for one night, stayed two and wishes we had time to stay longer! Our favourite place on the Caprivi Strip !!!

All as described and been said before. Great staff too.
Limited camping places. Scruffy drive to site but soon forgotten.

Report Check-In

Campsite itself is nothing special, although have to say the private ablution block has a great hot shower with clean towels provided. Place itself looks nice and you can enjoy a massage and stuff if that’s your thing. Price is now R245 pppn.

Very nice camping and lodge, have been there 4 times. The food is excellent. The pool is also clean. They offer various excursions

One of our favourite campsites in Namibia. Fantastic value at N$175 pppn when considering the great facilities and location plus super friendly staff from the owners down to the cleaners! They even have their own brilliant veggie garden; speak nicely to Deon, one of the owners and who looks after it, and you might get some free greens or spuds for you braai dinner!

will definitely come back. Owners make you feel at home and are very generous.
South African s pay R175 pppn.
lots of birds.
stayed 3 nights ...could have stayed longer but needed to get Bach to Cape town.

Stopped here but did not stay. Price is now 235pp. Campsites are nice, with private ablution, but no view. Went to Rainbow, not as classy, but right on the river 190pp.

Report Check-In

Lovely camp and lodge on the river. The campsites are not on the river. Each of the sites is surrounded by vegetation and hence offers privacy from the nearby sites. Large roofed kitchen and abulutions in each site. Really a 5 star accommodation from this perspective based on 9 months travel
To date.

All as described below. N150 per person, half price for kids. The campsites have every luxury, but still feel like you are in nature as you are screened by thick trees and shrubs on all 4 sides. We had a cheeky Greenbul who would perch on our table during lunch, and a pair of beautiful fire finches splashing in the bird bath. And the friendly owners left us a bundle of fresh vegetables from their garden.

Only disappointment of this place was dinner from the a la carte menu. We waited for almost an hour for food to arrive and the meat feast pizza was pretty disgusting. I expect it is much better if you go for the set menu. The restaurant setting is magical.

Absolutely 5 Star. Every detail has been cared for. Private campsites with own ablution and kitchen (even towels). Great great great fascilities including Spa, jacuzzi, pool, bar, superb restaurant, river cruises, free wifi, shop and more.
All this for N$150 pppn.
We certainly stayed longer and will come again. This is by far the best camping we had in two years of continous camping.

Lovely place! A little bit of luxury camping… but sometimes (especially when it rains) that’s nice! Lovely pool, friendly people, including towels, 5 liter of drinking water, Private kitchen and bathroom. Grassy campsites but not a lot of shade :)

Report Check-In

nice clean private campsites, low tree branches on entrance and in campsites, not for big rigs, covid special 150 pppn

Report Check-In

Great campsite, private ablutions, sink, all you need. Quite pricy with 270 pppn but worth the money. Campsites with grass and shade. Campers welcome at the pool. Booked a sundowner tour at the lodge and was worth the money - also enjoyed the village tour. Overall a place with all the comfort, no bushveld feeling. We liked it though and stayed 2 nights instead of 1!

Report Check-In

A really very nice camp The owner community is very much trouble to make it easier for you to enjoy your guests, everything is very new and you have absolutely his privacy because the places are wide enough apart. The restaurant offers good food to fair prices. Excursions to the nearby and beautiful parks are also offered. Relaxed are the sunset boat tours on the Okavango.

Report Check-In

We stayed for one night. Everything as in the comments below. 205 N$ ppn, including 1 bundle of firewood, 5 L bottle of water and towels (quite the overkill on a campsite, in my opinion). Lots of nice birds visiting, also cats. They also seem to have their own bees and vegetable garden. Dinner buffet would have been 295 N$ per person. At night, sometimes we heard trucks from the main road.

Report Check-In

Nice place, covered area if you are camping, roof with sink and big counter, lights & 2 electrical plugs. Toilet/shower (your own) is 15m away, very nice but shower could use a light that produces "some" light, lol. Camp site #1 get wifi from reception. Really nice place but pricey. We booked a morning boat tour ($325) for 10am the next day, and at 9pm they "suggested" we go now at 9am because some other people (read, they spent more money at the place), basically saying go at 9am or not at all. That was nice because we stayed the night because they agreed to do a tour at 10, we didnt feel like packing our tent/motos up at 8am so we didnt go. Otherwise, nice place. 1km road in is sandy but ok on a moto

See the descriptions below. Camping fee includes a 5 ltr bottle drinking water and a bundle of fire wood and privacy with a private bath. The bathroom comes with super soft and nice smelling towels <3 and enough of shelves and spots to put stuff.

The kitchenette is extremely spacious. A perfect set up for preparing food, cooking, doing dishes etc. 3 plugs for electricity.

Price is 205 N$ pppn. 1 bundle of firewood is included. Extra firewood is 20 N$. Camps
Don’t have riverview but one can use all lodge facilities.

They are supposed to have WIFI. But it’s not connecting with Apple (iPhone/MacBook). They are telling this WiFi has problems to connect with apple products, only “normal” phones .. what ever this is meaning :-)

MTC signal is more or less weak, mostly EDGE. Sometimes it picks up 3G.

The pool and deck area is nice and you get a stunning view for the sunset.

When you see what you get, it’s not as expensive one might think.

Dinner & Lunch available.

Pricy but worth it! Large campsites with private shower and toilet. Everything is very clean and they come to clean whenever you like. Free firewood and water. 205nad ppn
One of the most beautiful campsites we have been in namibia!
