ex-RP101 is a gravel road in good conditions. Coming from the south the sections to the Toro dam is very good to excellent. No corrugations, smooth gravel road. From the Toro dam to the intersection with RN40 there are corrugations, we just lowered your tire pressure (Iveco Daily 4x4) and had a reasonably smooth ride. 40-60 km/h which is more than adequate for a gravel road. No deep sand, no big bumps, no risk to get stuck. We met other cars every 15 minutes.
Report Check-Inthe highway 144 is paved. he is talking about the rp101 going north from the 144.
Report Check-InDo not attempt road without a 4WD between El Sosneado to Pareditas. While it's less kms than going to San Rafael, we weren't able to drive more than 40kms per hour in a 2WD. Going South to North, the road is fine until the Toro Dam, but after its soft sand and big bumps. Nothing out here, so quite dangerous to get stuck.
