Report Check-InBeautiful spot in between the Sequoia Forest. quiet during the week, gets busy on the weekend. No reservations. First comes, first served. couple of water tabs on the ground. Clean out toilets. Ranger come daily to collect rubish.
Road there is windy and narrow, however tarmac all the way. Saw a couple of RVs and trucks with trailers going up. Even so it says they shouldn't. ... Up to you I guess.
Report Check-InIt’s at 12USD a night. Not worth the detour of 19mi one way along a narrow steep yet paved street, unless you would like to do hikes in this area. You sleep below mighty trees with lots of shade, peaceful and quiet. Lots of advice how to prevent inadvertent encounters with bears and mountain lions is provided, as are bear proof bins, pit toilets and water faucets. Every site provides a bench, fire pit and bear box.
