Excellent spot next to hot springs. The geography gives you a bit of a break from the wind. The hot springs are crowded during breakfast and lunch time but wait an hour and you will have them to enjoy in solitude. Hot springs cost 6bol. ticket in the building in front of the pool.

A ranger told us not to park here because it was to close to the protected area were the flamingos are. We were asked to move close to the hotels on the other side of the road.
Loud generator for a few hours in the evening. But the thermals and the surroundings are so beautiful! We paid 6 Bol pp for the baths in the evening and were allowed to use the same tickets in the morning again.

Report Check-In

Great overnight spot as you can have a warm bath before bed. I went for a swim at 6pm or so and it was very quiet. It got busier later and as very busy in the morning.

Report Check-In

Nice spot with hot and warm water pools, flamingos - 6 Bol for the pool and 3 extra for the toilets. Good to talk with other tourist. We recommend the free one 1 km in direction of Bolivia.

Nice pool, beautifull view, 6bob including hotpool, Banos. Free camp in our van on the parking lot.

very windy

we were alone in the pool for the sunset.

there few tour arriving for the night, and between 7am to 10am and after 11:30 am to 14:00

Report Check-In

We enjoyed the hot pools before the sun went down and camped beside the concrete wall for the night. Pools now cost 6Bob per person. camping free

Report Check-In

We arrived at 1pm and at 6:45pm some park officials came and told us to move 200 meters to the 'parking area'. I guess we are not allowed to park here anymore... just park in the parking lot to be safe.

Report Check-In

Tried to camp in the big flat area across the road from the hotel, but they told us that parking there was not allowed, we had to camp up between the hotels/restaurants, which was fine, I guess.

Report Check-In

The termes are very crowded at morning till about 10 and at lunch time 12-14. Most beautiful scenery is short before sunset. If you prefer a quiet night and wake up choose a spot some hundred meters away from the termes like at the old road as there are tons of power generators at evening and tons of tourists at morning.

Coming from San Pedro towards Uyuni, our first rough camp is here, in front of the Chalviri Laguna. There are a few constructions near us and two other one going building. Other overlanders with bikes and 4W are close of us. It's windy. Wakng up in the morning this place was crowded...

Report Check-In

We pitch the tent between the restaurant and the hotel. But ask before if it's OK!!! -12° this night, but no problem if you have a good sleeping bag and thermals. A little bit of wind in the late afternoon.

Report Check-In

Hot spring at least 37degrees C. We counted 30 land cruiser tours here when we arrived at 1pm.

Report Check-In

Hot springs were great in the afternoon. No wind and 20C in the morning. The locals clean quite a few things in the water, including toilets, but it's away from the hot springs and down stream. The thermal pool looked clean and we really enjoyed it. Lots of tourists very early in the morning. Parking area was fairly level. Free. Pool+bathroom 6bol.

Nice place to stay. A rush of people first thing in the morning but a little later, there were very few there. 3 BOB for use of the toilets and 3 BOB for a swim. Lovely and hot, with some great views.

We asked to pitch our tent next to the hotspring, but were offered a place to sleep inside on the floor in the the restaurant. The friendly man moved a table and some chairs to make space for our air mats. We could use their kitchen for cooking. Nice and warm inside. We had to move out at 06:30am, just before the big crowd arrived. We paid 10 B/person to sleep and 3 B/person for the hotspring and toilets. Water was 37 degrees celcius and really nice. In the afternoon we had the hotspring to ourselves. In the morning over 20 landcruisers with tourists arrived. Very crowded! Toilet is a longdrop (smells bad but was clean until the crowd arrived)

Report Check-In

Busy... As in 2 dozen land cruiser tour groups BEFORE 7:30 am!!! Ugh. 3B/person gets you the hot spring and a very stinky bathroom. Nice place when it's not crowded.

Report Check-In

This is a dusty parking spot near the hot springs. Slightly protected from the wind and you have good views of the lake. There are bathrooms within walking distance and a little shack that sells food. Camp site was free but we were charged 3B/person for the hot springs. Busy with Land Cruisers in the AM. Better spots down the road a few miles in Dali desert.

Report Check-In

Paid to use the toilet at the restaurant next to the hot spring.
