Description

Campsite on the side of the lake, stars view points and little ranches to make BBQ. you can ride around the lake (preferably in a 4x4 in winter). you can rent little boats to cross the lake. I camp on the lake side with my tent and the only thing is you need to ask for permission (there is a police point where you can ask for directions inside of the park)

This is one of our favorite spots in Guatemala. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful. We paid 20Q/p and 10Q for our truck. As an entrance fee. We stayed 5 nights! Security guards and police officers all around. Tables and palapas with a fire pit. Weekends are a bit noisy but everyone leaves at dark. No loud music allowed. No church around either. Good place to catch-up on sleep.
