Latest Check-Ins

Very nice and peaceful camp close to a waterhole with birds, rhino and antelope tracks. 800 m from C39 on a good dirt drack with 4 dips that require a bit of clearance. Not visible from the road. No MTC-Signal.

Report Check-In

Stayed the night here surrounded by nature and nothing else. Evidence of fresh rhino activity but we were asleep when it visited. Firepits around to use but toilet paper was scattered around, please bury or burn your toilet waste.

Nice camp no one around. The place has many fire pits. Quite not many animals come to the waterhole. Well hidden from the road.

We think both path will bring you to the waterhole, just follow your location on i overlander and you will find flat spots with fire places. We heard hyenas, so be aware. And some elephant poo. The waterhole is overgrown but has water inside. Really nice and quiet stay!

There can be confusion. There’s this camp, and then there’s another great spot right at the end of the next parallel road : it takes to a real nice waterhole where we were greeted by two giraffes. Very quiet and lovely time there.

Report Check-In

Nice place, no animal, calm, safe and peaceful.

Awesome wildcamp indeed! It’s a popular spot, lots of fireplaces around. No people, only oryx, springbok and jackal. No sign anymore along the road, but the dirt track is clearly visible.

Report Check-In

We decided to come here instead of paying for the campsite outside the gate, and we are so glad we did!

Great hidden spot off the road near a small rock cliff. During the evening the stars were incredible, as you are in such a remote area. No one around and we felt very safe staying here.

Report Check-In

Still a great spot! Beautiful, shady, lots of firewood, no one around for miles.

Report Check-In

Great spots under shady trees. Lots of firewood and nice oasis to watch wildlife. Watch out for black rhinos coming at night.

Report Check-In

Can confirm everything only the wind knows wrote. Peaceful, enough trees to find a nice sheltered place. We saw some animal tracks as well. A lot of firewood available.
