Two security guys are usually working here. They are guarding the solar panels because thieves steal them. They have been working in shifts for 8 years. They work 20 days and then go home for 10. Two guys are usually here at a time and when one goes home a third one comes. Their names are Oteng, Thabang and Samuel. I chilled with Oteng and Thabang.

They don't have much here and have minimal supplies so I gave them fruit and some pastries and they really appreciated that. If you are able to, do bring them something. They are also 420 friendly so if you have some greens on you they would appreciate that too.

They also usually wait on the side of the road and wait for trucks to fill up water so make sure to bring your own water. I had about 8 liters with me but you can also fill up from trucks or cars passing by. I did so a couple of times.

Safe place to stay overnight. The workers are very friendly and will be pleased to have some company. They told us about every cyclists the hosted these last months.

We slept here too. Nice security guy they gave us water and you can sleep in your tent in security place.

The view at 70 meters on top of the antenna is amazing.

Fenced sandy area guarded by 2 friendly men working by shifts of 4 weeks. They are used to hosting bicyclistes as there is no safe accomodation between Elephant Sands and Pandamatenga. They said about 3 per year. Pit toilet, no shower, bring your own water as their supply comes only every 2 weeks. You can climb up the antena for the view. Free
