Quiet, close to amenities. Dump station available but no water
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
A sign indicates that we can stay one night. We were 3 RVs and 3 campervans. Was quiet. The dump work, we used it. The water doesn't work (it was no potable water).
Report Check-Innear the Highway, noise all night long, but early morning trucks for loading, waste truck etc., 4 big RV spaces (all occupied) dump works (somebody brook it) so not officialy, but no water
Report Check-InEffective our visit on Sept 6, 2022, dump station is locked and manager of store says it's permanently closed. rv spots are still available for overnight.
Report Check-In4 RV spaces and I am the only one here so far very narrow road for my A class to get to the store though shopping center but that’s the way GPS sent me I checked in store and was told overnight parking is ok there is a dump station but no water available
Report Check-InEasy to find. Stayed 2 nights pretty quiet considering nearby highway. Dump station too free to use but no water. Great place!
Report Check-InFairly quiet but you could hear the train. I was the only one here and never got bothered.
Report Check-InI tracked down and spoke to security. They told me they’ve been told to write down the information of people parking in the RV spot and ticket them after a day. Around the whole complex are streets filled with RVs. The security guard told me to sleep there. Slept there a few nights so far with no issues.
Report Check-InDesignated RV parking outside Cabelas next to Canadian Tire. Can get wifi from Canadians Tire but not too strong. Water station closed.
Report Check-InRV parking, ok for overnight. Water tap doesn’t work. The parking is calm at nights except for the highway
Report Check-InWell positioned, easy to find and quiet.
We were alone the entire stay.
Somebody fixed the sewer access problem (see picture) the lock is still in place but the covers opens easily.
similar to previous poster, clearly marked area for rvs, water and sanidump locked. and security did not come to see us
Report Check-InVery clearly marked. There are four spaces for RVs located between Cabela's and Canadian Tire, and a water fill/sani dump station right beside the spots. Follow signs for "RV parking". Due to covid, there wasn't a single vehicle in the complex but us. We were never approached by security about my stay.
Report Check-InNo issues with security. There are 4 spots beside the store between Cabela's & Canadian Tire. I asked inside the store & was told the upper corner of the parking lot, by the big Cabella's sign was available as well. I was the only one here. No wifi signal. The highway beside is busy so you'll have road noise all night.
Report Check-InRV parking, water and sewer is out of service still but easy spot, road noise (you're in a city folks) and wifi from Canadian tire
Report Check-InNot sure what happened to the nice security guard everyone else mentions from 2018, but we arrived mid evening late May 2019. Although our security man was polite, he had to call his boss about us staying in RV parking. He said we were only granted permission if he could take some vehicle details, move us to outside Canada tire and if we parked there again 'it would not be good for us'. Also, the RV area no longer has water or dump, although rv parking sign is still there. Maybe the car park is under new management? Or we just got unlucky.
Report Check-InAs mentioned below - good spot for overnight. Solid WiFi from CT.
Report Check-Inonly ones here! friendly security, great for a night's stay in a pinch
Report Check-InEverything ok. Quiet, WiFi, water, no dump “out of service”. The security guard it’s so nice.
Ok el lugar, hay agua y wifi. Descarga de aguas fuera de servicio.
Report Check-InWe arrived at 11:30pm and the friendly security guard came to make sure we were comfortable and to let us know there are no problems spending the night and he would be walking around if we needed anything.
You’ll hear a bit of noise from the highway, and the parking lot is well lit but this is an awesome place for RV’s, Vans, Popup campers or cars to spend the night in the city.
Report Check-Injust as it says, solid WiFi and quite. bit bright from the car park lights but nothing to be fussed about.
Report Check-InThis was a good place to camp for the night before heading to Banff. It was quite and had running water. A few fellow van lifers were there too. No one brother us.
Report Check-Infree to stay and guarded by security (we spoke to them), quite light but fantastic intenternet from Canadian tire. can't ask for anything more from city staying
Report Check-InReasonably quiet, between Canadian Tire and Cabellas there are some parking lanes for trucks and RVs (no trucks present however). No water, no dump. Solid wifi from Canadian Tire. Free and legal. Security patrol. Couple of campers parked on street as well.
