Camping sans beaucoup de charme mais très propre (emplacement // sanitaire // douche etc… 5 *)
Report Check-InSeems like campground is not reservable off-season. It's currently on a first come first served basis and you have to be there rather early as the campground was full (they told us) the last nights (September 15th).
Report Check-Indefinitely book a site online before, very busy in July, August. i Was lucky to get one of the last tent sites, always ask even when it is advised as "Campground full", small cars usually can find a tent site. very clean and Hot, unlimited showers, walking distance 5 Minutes to Restaurants and Shops in town, nice walk along the lake. no mosquitos due to heavy winds, which are common in this area, so there are kitchen shelters to make the cooking easier. can recommend.
Report Check-InReserve online. $40.75/night ($29.25 plus $11.50 reservation fee plus tax) for a car camping spot without hookups.
Report Check-InCampsite is a short walk into town. Site is clean and well maintained with free hot showers. The spots have full services, water, sewer and power. The only complaint is there are no trees and nothing separating you from your neighbours except a concrete pad and a picnic table. No fire pits either. But the proximity to town and numerous hikes make it worthwhile. Also lots of deer wander freely throughout the townsite.
Report Check-InWas sad to get here and find out there are no campfires allow on your site 🥺
Report Check-InNice campsite with easy access to a lot of the hikes. There is no privacy but good amenities; power, hot showers and outdoor kitchens. Walking distance from the restaurants in town, but in the off season there is not much open, bring your own food in.
Report Check-Invery nice place. no free or cheap, but a fair price for the structure provided.
Report Check-InPretty nice campground. Run by Parks Canada. Bitumen road around the campground, gravel pads.
Picnic table at every site.
$33 per night for electricity only. Stayed in G area, it's the closest to the water.
amazing little spot! i suggest staying here off-deason. waterton lakes is beautiful and they have a cute little village with cottages and bike/kayak rentals. there's also a walking/running path along the lake with spectacular views of the mountains. in mid-may, the campground was at no more than 25% capacity and the streets were empty (as none of the lodges were open and many shops were closed). it made for an amazing jog.
this campground is in the middle of the village and although not private (very much like a parking lot), it is absolutely gorgeous. mountain views from every campsite, and campground "G" sites are on a lake, too! I originally reserved a site in "B" next to the showers and bathrooms, and it has a full electric, water and septic hook up. the showers and toilets were closed for the season, so they offered me a site in the G campground (power only), and also gave me a refund on the price difference. G is probably the best section, of you don't need water or septic. water taps are available for fill ups of you have a jug.
great place to park up for a few days, especially off-season because it was fairly empty. not sure i would recommend it june-september.
Report Check-InWe came on the weekend and the campground was full. They told us we had to go out of the park to find a place to sleep if we didn't have a tent. The next day we came and another girl told us we could pay the $23 for a tent spot but just sleep in our van in the parking area. Not sure which employee was wrong but it was worth the money as it's the only place to stay inside the park.
No bathrooms in the campground because of COVID. I don't know if the prices have been adjusted for this however. Full hook up's for $39
Report Check-InFound this whole National Park weird. Terrible campground, totally not my style. Was in between all these trailers and RVs with my little camper :D just a big open area with campsites on gravel with a little bit of grass, no fire pits, not scenic at all.
Report Check-InLarge NP campground. In summer, reserve! Almost no shadow. Nicely situated at the lake. Very windy. Shelterhouses available. Washrooms fairly new and ok clean. No wifi. Within walking distance to village.
Report Check-InNice campground in Waterton. Only 7 first come first served non-hookup spots and 5 full hookup spots, the rest are all by reservation. Check out time is 11am so you need to be here then or slightly before to claim the open spots. $28.70 Canadian / night. Hot showers, garbage, water, possibly WiFi but haven’t confirmed because I have good cell reception here. Beautiful mountain views and a nearby river. Due to fire damage in 2017 many hiking trails and the driving loop are still closed. Goat Haunt, which is accessible by boat normally is also closed due to lack of staffing. On a good note, great coffee, pie and candy down the street in close walking distance at Welch’s.
Report Check-InNice campground, pretty location, right on the lake. Very hot showers!
Unfortunately everything in the town was still closed.
Excellent campground full service ( water, electric, sewer) for $28 USD per night (full hook up). Nestled in the mountains with great view of lake and biking distance from town.
