El Chaco | Established Campground

After crossing from Baja, we drove to this location and got a level spot to park (RTT) and walked the beach. Found that the facilities were subpar to be honest and not worth the 300P. Showers were a disaster with broken faucets and NO hot water, 1 toilet for the men and 2 for the women. Yes, the staff were good for the 3 minutes we spoke with them upon check-in. rate it 4 out of 10.

Open. Friendly staff. Only camper here during off season. Small # of sites. No shade so bring own if you need some. Nice pool. Crowded on Family Sundays.

Not many sides. Limited shade. But, nice grassy grounds, gorgeous beach, restaurant/bar on site and pool. Crowded with day visiting families on Sunday. But, all to ourselves off season in May.

They want 300 per person per night! They're letting us stay in the shady parking lot for 150 each. The spots are nice, on the beach. All are big rigs.

Nice place but pricey at 300 per person. Jose, the bilingual owner, agreed to let us park in the lot for 150 each. We couldn't find the camper bathroom, so took showers in our swimsuits at the pool (nice pool) and used the toilet in the parking lot. Quiet at night. Restaurant closes at 5 on weekends. You can walk from here to the pier.

Spent 2 nights camped alongside the picnic area. It was very beautiful place to camp. We spent time in the pool and walked on the beach. We did not need electricity or sewer. We paid 400p a night for 2 people. This cost includes access to the pool. Highly recommend this place.

Excelent place to stay , grills , I didn’t used them , fresh water for my dog (pet friendly) .
Pool and palapas in front of the beach ! Loved it

Really nice RV sites. Great pool. No show. Very close to beach. Banks and shower could be better. All services available. $350-400

Nice campsite, we got it down to 350 P a night. The bathroom close to the campground don't work, but you can use bathroom and shower at restaurant.
Hope you like the music of the ice cream truck, because during the day it is a constant sound in the campground.
My husband and friends love this campground, little to busy for my taste.
We have ATT network, weak at the campground. Slow internet at the restaurant.
Last night they hosted a wedding at the hotel, loud music stopped 4am - music so loud it vibrated my bed.

Great SAFE resort atmosphere...Owners, Ely and Trino, treat you with style and respect...a bit pricey at 400 pesos a night but well worth it!...Better rates for weekly, monthly, or longer stays.
Food is excellent, hot showers in the hotels by appointment, for long term campers...I highly recommend El Chaco!

Très jolie camping. Agréable au bord de la mer de Cortez, avec piscine. Personnels très sympathique et serviable. Nous avons payé 250$ME.

350 pesos doesn't buy much here - cold showers, no light in the bathroom, electric hookups turn off at rv sites over night

Excellent pool, beach front camping for 200 pesos. Don't get stuck in the sand when you are going to the no hook-up sites!

we paid 200 per night without any hookups to sleep in our van. The place is really great, clean swimming pool, clean bathroom and cold showers. We with its a little to expensive but the place is nice the beach wonderful and no sand flies!:)

Ocean front rv site and hotel with large swimming pool. Bathrooms near pool with outdoor showers. Restaurant closed during weekday in off season. Internet near restaurant. Electric hook ups and water. $250 pesos.
