What a lovely finca! Fernando and Diana are so nice, just as described here. I recommend contacting them beforehand on Whatsapp because there is not too much space on their yard. Great facilities and perfect, cool temperature for sleeping. Also a fast wifi!

We have already passed by this place twice and we stayed several days, not only did we rest, wash clothes and work with the Internet but we were also able to share recipes and good times with Diana Fernando and her family, it is a place that we like very much and we appreciate it. we recommend to everyone

We spent only one night here on our way to Ecuador. Diana and her family are so lovely that we wanted to stay more. The place is super cute, comfortable and quiet. It’s a great place to rest for a few days. Camping structure is good with sink, washing machine, hot shower, good internet, power outlets, whatever you need. Definitely recommend it.

Diana and Fernando are the most lovely hosts. Villa Margarita is a safe haven for vanlifers. Conveniently located close to Pasto and within a short thirty minute drive to Laguna de la Cocha (Colombia's second largest lake). We loved our time here however it is no longer voluntary contribution to stay. It's 20,000 COP per person per night. But for this you have a shower, wifi, electricity, bathroom, kitchen space and the nicest hosts in the world. We would 100% stay here again. It's definitely worth it.

We spent a good night in Diana and Fernando's garden. We were able to cook and have a shower/wc. Thank you for the warm and friendly welcome. We recommend it!

Diana and Fernando are wonderful, they welcomed us with great affection and helped us find a mechanic, they gave us lots of tips on places and road conditions. We share beautiful family moments, conversations and delicious recipes. They are certainly people that we will carry in our hearts for life. Space is limited so send a message in advance to find out if availability is available. Payment has no fixed amount, it is voluntary.

Diana e Fernando são maravilhosos, nos receberam com muito carinho e nos ajudaram a encontrar mecânico, deram muitas dicas de lugares e condições das estradas. Compartilhamos lindos momentos em família, conversas e receitas deliciosas. com certeza são pessoas que levaremos no nosso coração pra vida. O espaço é limitado então envie uma mensagem antes pra saber se já disponibilidade, o pagamento não tem valor fixo, é voluntário.

It is a nice place and the owners are so welcoming and friendly, it is hard to describe. You have to go and experience for yourself.
We stayed two nights and got our SOAT with the help of the owners (drove me to town, brought me to the right place, etc. incredible!).
Two things others may want to know in advance:
- Homemade honey, soap and shampoo is available. So, plan to stock up here.
- It remains a rather small space around the house, so recommend to check availability before arriving (any rigs longer than 7m might have difficulties to maneuver insight the yard)

Realmente uma excelente opção próximo a Pasto. José Fernando e sua família são pessoas fantásticas que nos proporcionaram uma recepção calorosa e nos deixaram bem à vontade para usufruir as comodidades que estão disponíveis. Ficamos apenas uma noite devido nosso tempo curto, mas poderíamos ter ficado mais e desfrutar da companhia deles. A contribuição de valores é voluntária.

Seriously, you have to stay here!! Lovely family, nice and very beautiful place! Fernando, Daiana and their kids were very friendly with us. We were able to use electricity, good and potable water and they take us to the town for SOAT. Highly recommended!!

We were warmly welcomed at Villa Margarita. After a few nights with street noise, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet here.
We can highly recommend a stay here to all travelers.

Great place with all the facilities that a traveler would need. José, Diana and their children are specially welcoming and it's been great to share with them. They have helped us a lot with our project of storytelling as well.

This family has given us one of the most stand-out hospitality experiences in South-America. Fellow Overlanders in Ecuador recommended coming here and as soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms.

They love Overlanders and have build facilities (toilet, shower, cooking area, wifi etc.) you need behind there beautiful house, to ensure that you have everything you need. They offered delicious local food, but we also offered to cook for the family and spend a day with the kids at the nearby laguna and the supermercado.

It is just so nice to have a proper home and family feeling for a few days, when being long away from home and you kind of naturally feel at home here :)

We enjoyed a very nice evening. It is not really a Campground, more like camping in the backyard of friends. You have everything a Overlander can dream of and the family is very nice. The price is voluntary.

José Fernando, Diana and their daughter Karina is the nicest family you can stay with! We spent 4 days here and felt really welcomed, including our two small kids (1 and 2.5) were received with more love one can expect. We shared a few meals and talks together, used laundry and we also could use the lines under the roof to dry it properly even with a heavy rain. The nice pueblo is 7-10 min walk distance, there you can buy some basic groceries and there is also a playground for kids. We are driving FORD 250 with a pickup camper, and made it work, Diana and Jose will open the gate for you and will guide you inside if you send them a message before coming. Also the is a hose with a water (non-drinkable), so you can stay put and don’t drive to fill your tank. Also there is a sun-shower and a flush toilet in case you need it.
Wonderful stay with a wonderful family, we would definitely come back!

We loved our (too short) 1-night stay at Jose and Diana’s home. The flat and grassy parking spot was perfect for our Ford Transit. They are the perfect hosts.

They have camping amenities in the back of their home. Good for cooking, washing, laundry, hot water shower, and clean toilet.

Awesome views and cool air at 2,650m in altitude. We would have stayed longer but our visa was expiring.

Their home is at the very end of the dirt road alley. Just keep going up! Best to message them on WhatsApp first so they know you’re coming.

Great spot just outside of Pasto. Jose and Diana are very hospitable and welcoming. They have a beautiful home and space for two campers. Not suitable for really big rigs. They have a bathroom, shower with solar panel heating of the water, ability to plug into shore power, washing machine and wifi. Great view from their house as well. Highly recommended!

private place at familiy revelo. you stay in their garden & can use their toilet and shower in their house, if necessary. everything is surrounded with a fence and alarm system= bery safe 😊. the have a german shepard dog.
extremely friendly family!
you pay what you like to give.
great location with a nice view on the mountains. calm!

really nice place to spend the night on a quiet neibourghood.
fernando is the nicest guy. he lets us do some laundry, cook at his place, fill our tank of water and even use his house when he went off for work.
not easy to find (we asked him to put a sign down road) : you have to clim up the gravel road in front a doña rosita little shop (ring the bell if she isn't in the shop, she might be nearby outside)
if you don't find it, just asked people around. the name of the guy is jose fernando revelo.
we paid him 25000 cop for the night.
really nice place for our first night in Colombia.
we definitely recommend this place !
