Something not right?

Description

Just treat your self with a nice campsite and Spa. Not much shade but clean ablusion with hot solar heated water.
You pay 170 pp for the campsite and get the Spa for free.
Outside pool not heated, inside pool from the spring and 37°C, jaccuzi, sauna and steam cabin.
You pay for a real gym for a good workout and after that you can get a massage.
Restaurant has limited menu in low season. Tast of food is not that great :-(
So, if you have some N$ left, just spend it here, enjoy the moment and realize you are in Namibia and have a good time.
Data on cellphone gives you slow internet access. But you can buy wifi at the restaurant.

Disappointing. If you expect a nice place to swim and bath - bury your expectations. The campground is ok, but for 200 N$ ppn you could expect a bit more than "o.k." Price includes the warm bath, which is run down 8 years after opening. Sauna is closed, steam bath not usable (smells very moulded), the (cold) whirlpools as well, hot water basin has definitively more than 37°C and basin is not cleaned since times, water dripping from the ceiling as ventilation doesn't work at all, outdoor-pool is not heated (although reception will tell you it is heated), but the tiles in the basin are covered with algae and extremely slippery (TAKE CARE!! Seriously!), nobody in the entrance hall, nobody in the Spa, nobody in the restaurant, and when you're walking in swimming dress through the building, the few employees you'll meet stare at you like you're an alien or a cow on a bicycle. It's sooo sad that after a short time Gross-Barmen is nothing more than a modern ruin.

This Place makes us sad. Nothing here. No shadow at the campsite and very very Long ways to the Swimmingpool. You have do Go in the heath of day of use the car. The hot Swimmingpool Pool did Not work and you would Pay extra. No wifi on the Place but only in the Restaurant.
In the middle of this dusty area there is a really big complex like you are with the old agypt Pyramiden of something like That. And Everything without any life. Only some women in the restaurant without anything to do but Full of Hope That you will Order a beer. We payed 150 pppn plus 50 pp because we are foreigen people.
My tip: Go foreward looking for a nice campsite with Swimmingpool. You will find Lots of them in Namibia much more better than this dead Place. Yes thats it !!!

Big Campground with clean sites and good restrooms. Only 2 other campers were there from Friday to Saturday. There are two big outdoor pools at about 28-30°C. For 200 NAD p.P. the use of these 2 pools is included. You have to pay 100 NAD p.P. extra to use all the indoor facilities. There is a big hot pool (ca 40°C) and two cool jakuzzis, steam room, sauna and gym. Everything looks new, is very big and clean. We were alone in the spa-area.

campsite with spa entry included (200 N$ pp). not much shade and probably crowded if full, however we were alone and got a nice spot with private bathroom. plenty of springbok around, no baboon. Outdoor pool at spa surprisingly warm and very clean, indoor pool temporarily out of order - same goes for jaccuzi and Sauna. steam bath was working and very relaxing. security at gate and restaurant on site, which we did not try.

Nwr campground. Hot pool not working and jacuzzi neither. The outsidepool is around 20 degress so its okey otherwise nothing special but good for a stopover.
Pool and welness faciilities free of charge if you stay on the campground

Thermal bath is nice. Would not come again at weekend, they made party the whole night from Saturday to Sunday. If I say whole night I mean whole night. Restaurant is bad, small menu and not even able to prepare chips. To escape from noise we went to day visitor area. Those visitors stole both shower heads at mens washroom yesterday. I recommend: try this place Sunday - Friday.

Finally an NWR campsite worth visiting. N$200p.p but thermal bath sauna etc all included. We are alone. 2 abolition centres, few shade and trees. BRAII, kitchen with 2 electric stoves and oven, power point and water tap. Great place to unwind and relax. Baboons apparently, safety round every hour. After sand and wind in sousvlei good to relax

Modern, facilities sauna, steam room, 37 degree pool inside. Free Wifi inside facility. All facilities free when camping. We couldn’t get into camping area with a big rig so we stayed in the conference center parking which was good for us as it is close to the facility

Report Check-In

The campsite is not charming but the pools are fine, like stated before! Everything is clean!

Report Check-In

Price is now NAD 200 per person per night for camping. This includes all facilities indoor hot pool, outdoor pool, steam bath, sauna, jacuzzi. Water is clean. Campsite has few trees. This is an ideal place to relax for a few days. Did not try the restaurant.

Report Check-In

The campsite has no charme at all. Though the facilities are really ok it feels like an industrial parking area. We decided not to stay.
