Description

The Bunk+Brew Historic Lucas House is Central Oregon's "Community Basecamp" -- connecting local and traveling adventure-seekers over food, beer, and events. 2.5 blocks from downtown Bend, the Lucas House (1910) is also Bend's first and oldest brick building. Book a private room or a dorm bunk, or stay overnight in your own van! Or just pop in for the day for our "Dirtbag Deal" to get a shower, do laundry, jump in the sauna, grab a beer, and get online for $15. There's two food carts, a beer truck, and live music on the weekends (and other events during the week). Don't miss it!!

As advertised. It’s an eclectic compilation of furniture and people and has a ski bum kind of vibe. Basic facilities in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

$20 for showers for 2, sauna, morning coffee and a place to park in Bend. Seems fair enough. Funky hostel / camper spot. Friendly staff.

Hi. I'm the general manager of Bunk+Brew. I just wanted to clarify that we are now accommodating OVERNIGHT VAN LIFE at our property again and for the foreseeable future! Yay!!

Report Check-In

Amazing hostel. It has 2 food trucks and 1 beer tap truck. Along with a cool sauna bathhouse. They are also pumping out live music almost every weekend.

.
Please update and remove this statement from the description - "They no longer allow you to stay overnight outside in your van" This is not true and they still allow vanlife overnight for a small fee.

Probably the best hostel I've been to in the states. Free brekky, clean facilities, chill and friendly people. Big thumbs up!

Awesome spot!

$15 for a shower, laundry and a beer!

Plus live music and a delicious Mexican food truck!

Great rest stop, sad we can’t sleep there anymore

Nice hostel with both indoor and outdoor working spaces. Food trucks in the court yard and live music depending on the night. The staff is super friendly but unfortunately, no more overnight parking in your own rig. As of right now you must book a room or a bunk to park here past 10:00 PM. Seems like all the other aspects of of the Dirt Bag Deal are still in place ($5 for Shower Only, $10 for Sauna + Shower)

Stayed here three nights. Got the “Dirt Bag” deal for $25 that lets you park a van overnight in their lot. Price includes free bottle of beer (which I traded for a kombucha), load of laundry, WiFi, and a hot shower. There are two food trucks and a bev truck on the property. They have live music and a shaded area with tables and hammocks. Have met some really cool people here including the owner, Franky, who brought his vision to life through Bunk & Brew and he continually evolves it. I love boondocking. There is something so empowering about living off grid and that will continue to be what I do for the majority of this trip. Having said that, this place allowed me a hip environment to hangout where I was able to shower, do laundry, get a delicious bite to eat, fill my van’s water container all while meeting some amazing people who have incredible stories. And lets face it, most of us spend $25 on gas getting to BLM land and it doesn’t get you a shower, load of laundry, bottle of beer and live music. Bunk & Brew is a two minute walk from downtown Bend. Highly recommend it!

This place is an epic find! $25 for a dirt bag spot in their lot. They have other spots to park available besides this lot and say they never run out of space. Showers were clean and hot. Laundry machines were large capacity. Two food truck and a drink truck on property on a shaded area. You get a free beer token with every night you stay. Staff is super nice and helpful. While I love boondocking sometimes I spend close to $25 on gas driving out to BLM/national forest spots and it’s no where near as cool as this place.

Got the dirt bag package. You park in a small dirt lot in front of the hostel, there are outdoor working spots, showers, complimentary check in beer and laundry. Towels provided. As others noted, it’s 25$ first person, $10 each additional.

Report Check-In

As described. Price is $25 for one person sleeping in own vehicle. Second person $10.

Report Check-In

Pricing has changed, it’s $25/20 (summer/winter) to park for the night. Includes: 24/7 access, kitchen, shower, a drink, breakfast, WiFi and a free load of laundry! Plus a chill vibe.

As per the description. Small parking lot but the dirt bag package was well worth it. Awesome hostel and well maintained.

Amazing new hostel. They allow you to stay in their parking lot. There is a package called "dirt bag", that includes a bottle of beer, shower, wifi and laundry for $10pp (off season),$15pp. (High season). Very friendly staffs and clean place.
