Alternative spot if other spot by lake is flooded as it was when we were there. Lots of places along the road to camp. No facilities. Free. But 17 somoni entrance fee payable.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
we camped here as the lake was flooded (and therefore not really blue and as pretty)... nice mountains around and although a road is nearby, it was quiet... however be aware... there are many many mosquitos...
Report Check-InExcellent Place to stay for the night. Really quite. Flat places for more cars. Fire place and surrounded by great mountains. We cleaned the place up, got all the trash like plastic bottles. So if everybody leaves their campplaces cleaner than before it gets more beautiful.
Report Check-Inthe road is quite hard from the main road E123 to the Lake, partly asphalte partly off road.
we stop here because we didn't find another parking safe and close to the lake.
we didn't want to go further as it takes us more than one hour for 25km.
we have a van Fiat Ducato SLX. if you have a 4x4 go further to the village of Sarytag where the view is really Nice. very easy to walk up there.
there is a source in front of the datcha of the president ! you can take water. local people are really friendly. no shops around. better come with all you need for you stay
we didn't pay any entrance fee.
they start to built a gold mine so it might be less quiet in the future. location is close to the road.
We stayed here because it was to windy for the other spot. This one gives you shelter.
