🇬🇧 We did one night here, there is a sign that you have to pay 2000 pesos for parking but no one has come to charge.
Quiet for sleeping.
As said, it is a just a flat gravel parking lot now. But it works ok for a visit to the lake and touristy restaurants. Boat rides on the lake are 70k+ pp. The parking sign says 2k, but we did not know who to pay, and no one asked. We paid in the tienda across the street, but no idea if those were the correct people. Stayed 2 nights with no issues. Busy during the day on the weekend, but fairly quiet overnight. There are bathrooms accessible in a lot of locations.
Report Check-InIt is an open parking lot now. They charge 2000 COP on weekends but free on week days. No fence or any barrier at all, just a flat, big area. We spent three days here and felt safe. Restaurants and bathrooms around as well as small convinience stores.
Report Check-InThe whole football field has been dug up. Not possible to get onto it from the road let alone camp there. I do not know what the intentions are. We used the public carpark in town which was muddy at this time of year.
Report Check-InGreat spot, very quiet and some friendly dogs. Asked around where to stay and a friendly local recommended us to stay at the football field.
Report Check-InSpent two nights here after arriving late to town. Checked all other spots and they are not great for various reasons. A local led us here. There in a perfect flat area in the back. The bathroom on the building was open. There is a water faucet available. We were out of the way of people, but close enough to enjoy the town. FREE!
