Camping at the end of a public beach access road. Room enough for 2 rigs. No one else was around when we were there. The beach has is covered with seaweed and garbage, but it was still a very nice place. No amenities.

One of the few beach accesses in this region, easy to enter and NO low hanging cables. We are 3.5M high and did it easily.
There was a power/telephone line on the ground half buried, probably that was the “low hanging” one take down by somebody earlier. One vehicle (any size) can park at the end only 5M from the beach and 2 spots are little bit further of the beach. Nicely windy in the October heat and very quiet even on Sunday afternoon!!
Indeed the usual “Mexican” garbage, but not very disturbing and we cleaned it !!

near the highway, but not much road noise at night. had the place to ourselves. overall, very clean esp compared to the Caribbean coast. some no-see-ums. rough drop-off from highway to access road.

Report Check-In

trashed out entrance, broken glass everywhere. Beach ok but didn't stay. Be very tight for more than one vehicle

Loved this spot. The access road had some rubbish along it, but the beach was clean and beautiful. Very windy in the afternoons but calm in the mornings (great time for a beach walk). No facilities. Free.

Progresso has lots of public access on the beach if you get away from the city center! We parked in one of these, very nice and windy! Crowded during the week end! Lots of garbage, careful for the night if you don’t want to deal with cockroaches inside your van as happened with us! 🙈
Police came to check several times per day, even at night, just checking that everything was ok though!

pull out right before the beach but there was so much trash we decided not to stay.. such a shame. 😞

Beach is not very dirty. Plastic bottles as usual. Nice spot for wild camping. Free, quiet.

Report Check-In

Quiet place to stay. Nice beach but lot of garbage around probably because of storms (and human).
