Description

national forest campground with host. 15 dollars a night. most sites are shady and fairly secluded from one another. some with excellent views. its 9 miles down a dirt forrest road. loys of pot holes but we saw plenty of road cars on the route. 1 mile past the camp is a hot springs. its 8 bucks per adult and is very nice. in the summer its basically a community pool

Latest Check-Ins

can’t speak on the campground itself. but we drove up here to check it out, the road condition in our 2WD van was horrible. so badly washboarded and potholey. would not recommend coming all the way up here if you’re cool with just staying at a dispersed site further back down the road.

Report Check-In

price is now $20 and the hot pool was a big disappointment. small crowded hot pool a price is now $12. typical tourist trap so we did not go in the pool and we did not find the hobo pool. only foundas really small one by the waterfall and that had a lot of algaes in it.

After Mid Sept this place is free and first come first served, but no water.
Great spot, personally thought the natural hot springs on the other side of the creek were plenty warm for autumn. highly recommend

Report Check-In

Road was graded at the beginning of the summer. A little wash board in some spots but otherwise typical grades road. Not as rough as previous comments.

beautiful campground tucked in a very pretty valley 1 mile from granite hot spring pool. the road in is ROUGH. lots of potholes everywhere, just take your time and choose your line carefully when driving. still $15 a night for campsite and $8 per person for a soak in the hot spring. there are also free hobo pools at the bottom of the falls up the road as well as in the creek next to the hot springs pool. a little piece of paradise.

Report Check-In

Typical NFS campground. Well-kept. First come first served.

Report Check-In

Beautiful and pretty quiet. I pulled off before the campground on a little side road. There was a spot close to the river with a fire ring already made, but no toilets.
