elec / grills / river views. We read on a few camping lists it is free. Stopped for lunch, didn’t stay the night. GPS coord may not be accurate.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We spent a Monday night here, and it was super quiet. The bathrooms are renovated and super new - which doesn't mean they are clean 😂
It has energy and water (the water is brown in color, so we don't fill our tanks with it). Many barbecues and tables facing the River.
Still for free.
_______
I camped here for a night. Many things are not like it used to be I guess.
Toilets are not functional. I found the women's toilet only. That one was pretty much destroyed.
Found 2 water taps. I could get water from one by unscrewing the entire water tap for a bit. Don't do it too much or you get wet most likely. If you come from Belén, it might be a good idea to bring water from there.
I charged one camera battery. The next one didn't charge for some reason. maybe it was too cold?
There are plenty of BBQs. If you need reliable electricity or drinking water it might be better to choose another paid campsite. After all it is a free campsite.
It might be nice here on a warm sunny day.
Report Check-InThis place has definitely seen better days. Toilets are not working, there's no drinking water available, but yes, a place to put your tent/park your vehicle in serious need.
Report Check-InFine for an overnight if you get caught short. Safe but bright lights and midnight (and later) stroller with cars and bikes and loud music even on a Monday night. If you have time would definitely push onto Pozo Verde site further north instead.
Report Check-InJust stopt for a sleep. Ok, but at the weekend its going to be loud, because of the youth with cars and soundboxes coming arround
Report Check-InDisgusting toilets and water not potable... Stopped there only for a lunch.
Report Check-InGreat free camping - electricity outlets on posts - potable water faucets along roadway - barbecues - run down but usable toilets. nice and peaceful. FREE entrance is by little white building with flag.
