Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I have always liked this no frills campground. In it hay day when the reservoir was full, you could not get in here. Way too crowded. The last few years to water has really dried up. Never more than 5 campers here. Perfect. The sites are large enough for any rig.
There is a notice up at the board about raising prices up to $20. Kind of crazy. There is basically some out houses and a
trash can. That’s it. Still, I love this place.
The reservoir is totally dry. No water on it. No camp host. And no camping slips to complete and pay. It says $8 otherwise. The water spigot is turned off. Pit toilet is clean but nearly out of toilet paper. It looks like the place is abandoned for now… no shade. Pl but of spaces.
Report Check-InLarge BLM campground with pit toilets. Large pull through sites can accommodate large rigs. No shade. Reservoir was nearly dry, but a nice quiet spot right off the highway. Only 2 other rigs here when we visited.
Report Check-InGreat overnight spot to stop. Gorgeous sunset. Large spaces and lots of them but there was no one here so we just parked in the paved parking lot. Far enough away from the highway there is no noise. $8.
Report Check-InForgot to add photos. Also the reservoir was mostly dried up, but great place to drop in and right off the highway, but enough the road noise was very quiet.
Report Check-InEasy self check in, good cell signal, lots of spaces, has fishing cleaning station for reservoir fishing. Benches and fire pits at each site. Great place to stop.
Report Check-InOpen dispersed camping. Some small permanent shelters over picnic tables. Fire rings (no fires allowed currently on BLM). Pit toilet in good condition. $8 per night.
Report Check-InVery, very quiet. Just the birds and the breeze. It’s a pretty good sized campground. Room for any big rig. Great place. And we can fill our water tank. A bonus.
Report Check-Innice camp area! Not much around but good if you are passing through this way! Toilets, shade structures, picnic tables, fire pits, lake with boat ramp. tons of open camping spots, not busy. $8/night. got cell service with t mobile in some spots but not great
Report Check-InGreat campground. Put toilets were clean. Big campsites nicely spread out. No shade but nighttime was nice and cool. Amazing sunset over the reservoir.
Report Check-InNice campground. Recommended! There is a lack of shade, however. Picnic tables, fire pits, two shade canopies only; the rest have no shade.
Report Check-InWonderful place near reservoir. Beautiful sunset. Lot of spaces. 8$/night. Toilets. Picnic table and fire pit. Very quiet.
