Great wild camping spot on a little beach by the river where we had a very quiet night. I would avoid on weekends, looks like a bathing place for locals. There might be better spots furher up the road, at the actual reserve, but it was dark when we got here and the road is in bad shape so we stopped here.

As described, plus smell of dogshit and some, tolerable garbage. It feels safe.
Arrived on a Sunday, a few families.
multiple pull off options by a beautiful river. no one bothered us all night
Report Check-InNext to the main road but quier night next to the river. We asked locals and it is safe to stay the night. We prefered this spot instead of sleeping inside Ibague.
Report Check-InGood quiet place near the river. At the moment is also used for road constructions, but in the evening there is no problem to stay. No problems at all.
Report Check-InThe police came 11:30 pm and wake me up. They didn't let me sleep anymore. I had to follow them to the police station. The location is on the main highway. Trucks non stop all night. No rest for sleep
Report Check-InNot so bad to have rest before the long Armenia road. Still police came knock at our door at 11pm and told us the place was dangerous because of drugs addicted. They let us stay but told us not to open the door at other people.
We ask about it to the locals in the morning that laugh and told us there is no real danger.
