Isetta was on awesome hostess. The rustic and basic hunters cabin for a weary cyclist is perfect. Self catering but Isetta will help you out if needed with some supplies.

She offered me a lift to my next destination if I wanted it , as the wind was horrendous and the roads arent great in this area.

Very poor MTC signal. No wifi.

I took the chalet with my father , nice facility and the lady was so nice. I don’t understand the bad comment cause she was a gem , really helpful and nice . I recommande !

We arrived this place two hours before sunset by bike. The guys who works there, told us to wait for the owner who supposed to come in half an hour. Of course it was already dark and we were still waiting.
After three hours waiting finally owners arrived.
The woman was very angry with us and telling “are you welcoming me in my own house?”
She got crazy and run away to her husband as we told her that “your colleagues said us to wait”
The word colleague made her soo upset and furious.
Than the husband came and with a rude attitude telling us that it is their property, we cannot sit here. Also those guys are just worker Nama people, not their colleagues. I could see the racism and aggression on his eyes.
Unbelievable. This is a campground and official guesthouse.
Finally we had to pay 200pppn because it was too late and we couldn’t move anywhere anymore.
The white lady was still angry with us next day and telling “don’t you wish me a good morning!!!?“

Next day husband tries to give us the half money back for the inconvenience which we refused to take. We were just happy to leave this place but also sorry for helpful, nice and friendly Nama people who has to leave with those white guys.

Beautiful spot high in the dunes. Sheltered but with phenomenal views, especially as the sun goes down. Consists of a tent platform, hot shower, flush toilet and brai area. Everything else you provide. Totally quiet and restful.

Price NAD300 per person.

Campsite in the middle of nowhere. Basis but very clean facilities. Kind owners. nice spot to see sunset, sunrise and when there are no clouds: great place to see the stars.

Campsite is open. Owners are very kind. I arrived at the farmhouse knackered, and while you normally are required to go 4km further to the campsite she let me camp at a chalet by the farmhouse. 150 for camping, 250 of you want a bed in the chalet.

Note that there's a very different side to the story behind the previous commenter, and because they offer this as a kind hearted service rather than to make money, they didn't bother doing anything about it even when iOverlander emailed them. You're best off ignoring those comments.

I can confirm the aggressive owner. As per post from g.pillonel the owner confronted me extremely aggressively after accusing me of breaking his hot water system. He then sped off in his vehicle in the dark and I was relieved that he did not run over my children. I then left the morning after very early and left the money in a safe place for the owner to find, as I did not want to confront the owner again. Reading the posts below that was a good decision. I then got a call from the owners wife immediately accusing me of leaving without paying. I informed her that I paid. I will never ever go there again

WARNING:
Owner is very aggressive. With another overlander we fixed the boiler ourselves because there was nobody there to help us. When the the owner came at night he got mad, and saying all the rudest words you can imagine. The overlander with the car left early in the morning without paying. When I met the owner in the morning he almost hit me with the car, pushed me and threatened to hit my face if I didn't pay for the other guy. He finally grabbed my money out of my wallet didn't give me change and left and said that he was going to close the camp site. I had to report the incident to the police. BTW, the gas boiler was not installed properly and is not safe. The is a other lodge 16km south along the C27 where with a friendly owner.

Check in at the owners house. Camp itself is 3 KM away at the end of the world.

No signal with MTC.

When we arrived the boss was not there.
The staff could not tell us that they had a campsite.
So we told them that we went to the campsite with the coordinates.
At the campsite, there was no water, elec and hot water, but the pit hes where OK.
There are cows and horses, so poop was all around with the flies. But we also saw a Oryx on a distance.
Ans, after 5 minutes my wife was 2 times bitten by a tick when she just sat on her chair in front of the car.
At night, all the stars are yours.

Actual campsite is 1km up the road but go to the farmhouse first (coordinates are the farmhouse). $100pppn. Pretty rough ablutions but the site is about 2km off the main road (at -25.156922, 16.128566) so is very quiet and dark. Amazing view of the stars on the right night. Braai provided. Hot water and flush toilets.
