Great winter spot. The gravel lot was snowed in but the parking by the park was plowed and there was zero signage noting any parking restrictions besides the charging station and handicap spots. The restroom has been unlocked the entire time and is well kept. Was able to pickup the WiFi from the museum but seems that’s it’s not connected to the internet for some reason.
Overall awesome spot level and quite with amazing views over the lake
Report Check-InStayed in the gravel pit across from the museum. Lots of room, pretty quiet at night. Super nice view of the lake. Heated washrooms across the street with a sheltered picnic area. Also got good enough wifi from the museum to watch a movie. Good spot for a night or two!
Report Check-InSlept there from Saturday to Sunday. Great, quite spot with a nice view over Mono Lake. Wifi, heated and clean toilets and fresh water.
Report Check-InGreat place to stop. Secluded, plenty of space and quiet. Close to restrooms and the visitor center which has free WiFi during the day
