Latest Check-Ins

Signs are now posted no over night parking. Looks like another cabelas has stoped offering there property for travelers. I have stayed here before on fishing trips to Oregon. The intrance to the area for the semis to park is trashed. Also the drug tent camps around the area are really bad (huge).

Report Check-In

Called to see if they allow overnight parking and they said no, but if you leave before management arrives at 7am it will probably be okay. We didn't want to risk it and didn't stay.

Report Check-In

Comfortable and very well-lit spot! Trash nearby in the woods. A massive amount of parking space, and little to no noise from I5. Cabela's bathrooms and store and open from 9-9 (10-7 on Sunday)

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights here and it’s perfect! Huge lot quiet plenty of room to park and be away from people. I parked opposite side of the trucks and didn’t hear a thing all night either night. Great cell service grass all over for dogs to adventure

Report Check-In

Great place for an overnight. many other car, van, and truck campers here as well. very nice staff. lots of parking! feels very safe.

Report Check-In

Great spot to spend the night, felt incredibly safe. Biggest parking lot I’ve ever seen, plenty of space and big spots for big rigs . Noise was negligible in our bus :)

Report Check-In

The best possible spot to spend the night in. Huge place for everyone and some grass for the dogs to run in.

Report Check-In

Great spot for the night! Ample parking, quiet enough especially if you park further from the semis and highway. It’s good.

Report Check-In

This parking lot is massive! I found a nice spot not next to anyone; it's a great spot for the night.

Report Check-In

there were around a dozen overnighters including some big bigs.
lot is very well lit, you'll need blackout curtains .
there's also overnighting at the 7\11 just before the lot and on the access road just before the lot

Report Check-In

Awesome spot to sleep for a night! Solo female traveler here, and I felt super safe. Clean, quiet (aside from moderate generator noise, but it seemed to stop around 10pm). Between vans/RVs and big rigs, around 20 vehicles were parked overnight. In the morning, I drove to the far opposite end of the parking lot where there’s much more grass and walked my two dogs on leash for a great, stress-free start to the day. Let’s keep this place clean and quiet so we can keep using it!

Report Check-In

Nice parking lot. The semis are on the west side, but I parked with one other van on the east side. Is was quiet all night. I arrived at 9:00pm and left by 8:30am with no problems. Excellent receptions for Verizon

Report Check-In

As described, large RV/semi/travel-trailer parking area to the right side of the store. Quiet night. Didn't hear the hum of the hwy until the morning. The spigot that was mentioned below is at the very beginning of row G near the light pole. I woke up and did some work beside my suv, and another person was sitting outside their RV in their chair. There were about a dozen of us including the tractor trailers. In thr AM it appeared more people had shown up overnight. No of the TTs were running their generators overnight so that was a plus! Went in to use the bathroom in the AM. They had just been cleaned.
For a parking lot, I thought this was a great experience. I prefer this over a Walmart.

Descriptions are accurate. Tonight , everyone is on their best behavior: stealth, quiet, windows covered, and closed down. No generators at this time. Many sizes and types of campers. Thank you, Cabelas, for the privilege of staying here. Please, people, keep it on the down-low so others can stay a night. Pack it out, do not clog their trash bins, please. Keep It clean. This IS a gorgeously landscaped parking lot!!!

Report Check-In

HUGE parking lot with lots of semi trucks and RVs parked overnight. Pretty quiet and good cell service. Bathrooms inside Cabelas.

Report Check-In

Clean, safe parking lot. As others have stated, “No Overnight Parking” signs have been posted but they don’t seem to enforce it. Many semi’s parked on the west end. We chose to stay on the east end with one other truck camper. No issues, as always keep to yourself and be respectful.

Report Check-In

We stayed the night. The freeway noise is constant so kind of turns into white noise. Good cell service.

We were here with easily 10 big rigs but only one other van. Didn’t spot super obvious no overnight signs, but didn’t checkout the whole parking lot. No one bothered us and we arrived at about 7pm and left around noon.

There is also a spigot labeled potable water by the pet area!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Great spot. Quiet out of the way. As others pointer out some signs advising against parking but there were a few transports and RVs.

Report Check-In

Easily the biggest and nicest Cabela's lot I've ever seen. The store is along I-5 but isolated between other large undeveloped lots. I saw one "no overnight parking sign" but there ware easily 10 big rigs, trailers and vans parked right near it on one side of the store. It was obvious they don't enforce it. I parked on the other side of the store and had it all to myself on a Sunday night. No one bugged me. I could live in this parking lot, lol.

Report Check-In

cabelas lot,

stayed here no problem in our 24 ft rv.

a few other rvs were here and semis.

very quiet at night!

Report Check-In

Big parking lot at a virtually empty Cabela's filled with 18-wheelers. Not quiet, due to noise from I5 and 18- wheeler who let his truck run all night. I'll never understand this. Two other campers and one class B in the lot. Didn't see any "no parking" signs. Figured since the place looked like a truckstop, what harm would I be in my stealthy rig. We were not disturbed. Excellent Verizon and AT&T since there was a cell tower very nearby.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night. It was good. Noticed there were signs that say no overnight, but there were so many people, and no one gave us any issues.

Report Check-In

a good sleep spot, a few big rigs with generators but it's a huge parking lot

Report Check-In

Arrived around closing time. We were not alone but spaced out. A few gennies running at times. Good cell reception. okay for a night - road noise ALL night.

Report Check-In

nice quiet place to rest for a night nice and dark

Report Check-In

Great Cabelas, lots of parking/camping spots including 4 horse pens and potable water during warmer months. Reasonably quiet, some 18 wheelers other end of lot.

Report Check-In

No overnight parking signs have popped up over the past few weeks. We stayed anyways and weren’t bothered or asked to leave.

Report Check-In

Always a good stop. Water points shut down for the winter

Report Check-In

Wooow!! Une des belles places qu’on a trouvé.

Report Check-In

Good nice free place to spend a night without hassles. Potable water on the RV and truck site. You share the spot with trucker so it’s not completely quiet. And why not take a look to the <> inside the store to find some good deals in outdoors sports equipment.

Report Check-In

Big parking lot, a little bit noisy from the I5, but ok for the night, bathrooms are in Monday-Saturday from 9 am to 9pm and Sunday from 9am to 7pm.

Report Check-In

Store parking lot, allows overnighters. Near the I5, store has restaurant & washrooms
