Still here and with stronger internet; there are four floors and each floor has a router/network. The kitchen is small but functional. There is a common space with tables, big tv and couches on the first floor.

The terrace has a great view of the cordillera and the showers are HOT, absolutely a gift! We really enjoyed our stay here.

Now 50s for an ensuite room, plus 10 for parking. Still a great deal, lovely terrace, kitchen. WiFi is spotty, but good enough. Good location.

Adding this place as a campground please. No other good options in Huaraz. Space for one van ad one Sedan, or just one big rig maybe. No height limit only lenght. Lovely hosts, super hot shower, potable water, ok Wifi. 15 sol PPPN.

Great huge place 40 s/ for double bed room with shared bathroom. Fantastic gas powered hot shower. Great view from the balcony. Kitchen (prepare yourself to be patient with the stove), and place to eat. Parking lot for 2 cars. Bicycles and motorcycles welcome!
Friendly staff - they listen classical music and it was relaxing

Lovely place run by a Peruvian-French family and their slightly-senile parents. Kitchen is tiny but definitely usable. There’s a good-sized eating area that’s freezing at night, and the rooftop terrace is great for washing clothes and sipping beers admiring the cordillera Blanca. They let us store our bicycles in the corner near the kitchen (safe and clean). The place is loud from 6am onwards and until around 10pm, from other guests and visitors. The daughter Carol speaks English as well, and her husband Marc speaks French. We enjoyed our time. Busy on weekends with visitors from Lima.

We spent 2 months climbing in the Cordillera Blanca and made Huaraz our home base when we weren't in the mountains. We stayed at La Cabaña during these times over the 2 months and loved it. We payed 15soles per person to sleep in our van in the small courtyard for a night which gave us access to a HOT shower (gas hot water), toilet, basic cooking facilities and beautiful rooftop terrace. They family were very welcoming and looked after us very well. Even if other foreigners needed to park their fancy cars in the courtyard overnight we were allowed to still sleep outside on the street and use the facilities free of charge. The senora is Flo and is in charge of the place, always beautiful vibes with music playing and food cooking (not in an obtrusive way). It's not the fanciest place but a great option if in Huaraz.

Very nice place. Great roof top terrace.
Secure parking, good hot shower and good wifi. Friendly people. They let us leave our car parked for one night then we went on a hiking trip for 10 soles.
Double room 40 + 10 soles for parking.

very good place for stay in huaraz if you travel with a van. 20S to park the van in the private parking lot, access to toilet, shower ans fast wifi included. very nice owners and closed to city center. perfect!

Hostal managed by a really friendly family. The daughter speaks English. Nice, clean room. Good shower. 20 soles for dormitory, 50 for matrimonial room. Wonderful view on the Cordiellera Blanca (Huascaran etc.) from some room and the roof top terrace. Kitchen and living room are free to be used. Laundry service. Internet standard for Peru. Bicycles and motorbikes can be stored for free in the outdoor parking. cars (place for 2 only) can park for 10 soles a day.
We definitely recommend!
