open area with small trees at the camp site.
wind protection at every site, and some have a little bit shadow. cold showers but at no6 there is a donkey. (maybe there is a shared shower with hot water, did not ask). Small cold pool not so clean but refreshing!
waterhole behind the fence where some antelopes could come for drinking, saw some oryx but it was dark already
Nice, well shaded and well spaced. The lady who owns it is very knowledge re. Namibia and had an awesome map on the wall to help point things out. Hot water could be requested, not sure if it’s drinking or not, private (outdoor) shower and toilet and braai area. No electricity or wifi.
Apple strudel is a must. Lovely camp site.
Warm wellcome with hot coffee and apple pie. Got a good place to stay the night. Next morning starts with hot shower. Prepared with good advices we continue our trip.Report Check-In
What a wonderful place! Wally was extremely welcoming and even helped us fix our car. When you stop by, ask for the Quivertree forest! He recently prepared a 4x4 track that leads to these beautiful trees not far from the mountains. It's totally worth the little detour.Report Check-In
Lovely campsite just 1h from Fish River Canyon. Hot showers available. Camping is $180pp.Report Check-In
For cyclists - the shop has basics, packet noodles, biscuits, biltong, crisps etc. They mentioned they might get oats and tinned food too so cyclists can stock up as there aren’t many shops around. It’s a really friendly place. We camped here for a night and loved it. It’s rustic, your camping spot has a tree, a sink, some wind shelter and a cold shower (but there is a shared lovely toasty warm shower too!). There’s no wifi or electricity, but that’s why you’re travelling Namibia, right?! At night it’s peaceful with huge skies. Great little spot.Report Check-In

A very fun and intimate little padstall - the owners were so friendly and accommodating that we intentionally passed by twice.
We would not camp here, but coming for a coffee and a chat is essential. The owners as unique as their place itself.
Excellent biltong (!!!!!), and delicious coffee for my vegetarian girlfriend. A must stop when you’re passing through!
We stop for coffe and Apple strudel. The coffe was ok, but the apple strudel was very small and not cooked enought.
The biltong is good but expensive.

Basic but nice place.
The owners are very nice and we could buy some kudu meat but there were no more pie available (he sold them all in a day).
Many people stopping on their way.
Big campsites (130pppn) with private braai, a private toilet (no paper toilet - bring your own) and private cold shower. There is a shared hot shower (donkey fire) so we could have a nice hot shower. A tree in each campsite - and sink.
No electricity / no wifi.
Rustic site with private ablutions. Very quiet at night, no lights so great for stargazing. Owners very friendly. We asked for the kudu pie but they only make this during high season, we got some biltong instead. While we were braaiing the owner gave us a piece of kudu worst he just made for free! Really nice! Price $N130 pp.Report Check-In
