Due to the storm all the site is upside down with nothing functional anymore …
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
You can still stay here but it’s not as pretty any more due to flood damage. We did see electric but the bathrooms had no water. Neighborhood dogs so some barking at night. Quiet and free
Report Check-InPassamos uma noite no camping municipal. Lugar tranquilo, no entanto alguns meses atrás as chuvas destruíram bastante o camping.
Report Check-InWith the last storm everything here is upside down… nothing is functional anymore and place looked desolated…
Report Check-Init has become a ruin, no water, no toilet or shower, 220v ok everything is falling apart, it has become a wild bivouac
Very nice option to spend the night. Flat and grassy parking spots everywhere. Water and electricity available. Bathrooms are a little old, but the place is free, so you get what you pay for. Nice access to the river.
Report Check-InSpent a quiet night here. Free and nice. Hot shower in the women's restroom, but the door is broken off. Had no issues though as it was pretty empty when I was there.
Report Check-InFree campground Municipal, some pitches with electricity and water.
At the end are restroom and Shower(Women's Restroom)
not particularly clean
very nice place. there is no dump station yet, but it's been planned.
free place, water and every.
Report Check-InNice area for free camping on the river. There are bins and water taps but I didn't see showers or toilets.
Report Check-InLugar sensacional e gratuito!
Report Check-Inwe stay 3 night here.we cam here at Sunday, it was bussy on day but in the evening all the people left. we were only 3 campers. all nights were quiet. and as already described, with electricity, toilets, hot shower in woman's toilets and water all free.
Report Check-InVery nice place. Totally free. Just avoid the weekends when the locals come to do there churasco and a lot of powerful music.
Report Check-Incamping municipal a beira do rio mampituba....arborizado, agua e energia churrasqueiras....tudo free.
Report Check-InCamping area free of charge.
You'll find a grassy land on which to park with water and electricity available. There are also fire pits and toilets with hot showers. Right by the river and the mountains as the backdrop.
Report Check-InThe camping is closed on weekends, it is open only on week days.
Report Check-InWe just found electricity but no water. We stayed just one day and moved to another camping.
Great campsite, better facilities than at the bottom of Malacara canyon (which you'd have to pay for) while this is free. There is LOADS of space, with many picnic tables, Bbq spots, water and electricity points. Toilet block seemed to be open all night, there are showers too. We were the only people there but it seemed very safe. Wi-Fi available for free in the town square, a 5 mins walk away.
Report Check-InQuiet grassy place by the river. There is nice place for barbecuing, tables, seats and a public water tap available in the area. there's city lights. this place is located in the middle of city, we camped here two nights and even left our tent with stuff in it and we had no problem. there was a sort of gypsy community camp with kids and dogs so we camped a bit away from them. some people use the bushes as toilet, you'll find toilet paper around. In the city there is a tourist center, they'll answers other questions. I stayed here with my friend for 2 nights. From here you can go to Canyons, for the trail in the bottom canyon (like Rio do Boi and Malacara) but you'll need a obligatory guide, R$50-R$100. but there are also 2 options you can visit for free (by car or hitchhiking like we did) which are on the top of canyons: the closest one is canyon Itaimbezinho and the farther one is Fortaleza.
Report Check-InVery beautiful and peaceful place. we stayed 2 days. has water and light.
Report Check-Inwe arrived here a Sunday. bathrooms were open and it was possible to swim with hot water. it was a quiet evening. camping free in a quiet place.
Report Check-InWe stayed here one night, very quiet place by the river. We didn’t follow the directions, but once you are by the river, you’ll find the way. The keys to the toilets (with showers) you can apparently pick up at the municipality building, we borrowed from a fellow camper. The city is very cute. You don’t need a guide to itaimbezinho Park; we went there cost free, done all the walks which are quite easy.
Report Check-InIf you need an English speaking guide for the canyons (it is obligatory to have a guide if you want to go into Itaimbezinho Canyon) Marcelo 047999147917 is recommended. Very nice and knowledgeable.
Report Check-InCorrection to the route description. The entrance to turn South to the small road in my description is 65 meters East of the junction mentioned by me before. Sorry
Report Check-InWe were directed here by the very competent information center at the eastern entrance to town. It is on the river bank, free and very quite. To get here, drive on Rua Ricardo Inacio untill Rua Expedicionário Miguel Cardoso, turn South to the small road between the houses. I couldn't find the small road on G.maps, emaps and Here but it's there. There is electricity (220v) and water in some of the taps closer to the kiosk and the toilets. BBQ stands are olso there. Toilets were locked. Seems like it is used by the locals in the summer. very good place before and after visiting the canyons. You can pitch a tent or park with big rigs.
