Camping down a small track by the side of the river. Obviously used before from fire pit but pleasant and quiet. Close to Vardzia. No facilities. Free. Easy to reach for all vehicles.

Nice flat area at the river. The road is close but almost no traffic. Easy to get there no need for 4wd.

We stayed two quiet nights here and visited the monastery. Slept well. The place is close to the road, but it’s very quiet at night and you can camp out of sight. Nice view over the river and mountains. Woke op in the morning with the sound of many birds and grazing cows. Some fire pits. No facilities. We bathed in the river.
Report Check-InCamping down a small track by the side of the river. Obviously used before from fire pit and beer bottles but pleasant and quiet. Close to Vardzia which was busy when we passed. The camping spot there had a no entry sign do not sure you could have taken a vehicle along. No facilities. Free.
