Description

These coordinates are for the parking lot from where the trail (500m) to the waterfalls starts. There are 6 waterfalls with natural pools for swimming and jumping from the rocks (deepest pool is 8m). Very pretty place to spend a few hours. 3000 cop entrance pp, plus 4000 cop for parking the car. Might be busy on weekends.
We stayed at a campground nearby, El Cocuy, for 12000 cop (car and 2 people). Nothing fancy but cheap and friendly and they have access to the river as well for a nice bath in the morning.

Very nice waterfalls. The road to get there is rough, local comes with little chevy but high clearance recommended. Not for big rv at all. Slippery rocks and river crossing.

The entrance to the falls is 10000 per person and we paid 8000 for parking. You can easily spend half day to a day here.

This place is still open. Kind of a rough road getting in. High clearance needed and 4wd likely if wet. A couple of small creeks to cross that would be impassable when up.

A nice visit and a great lunch. In total for two people I think we paid something like $10usd. Dogs not allowed on the waterfall trail but we were able to get Dixie out in the parking area.

Really nice place, but be aware that they close it at 4.30pm and the last hour you can only swim in the first two waterfalls.
Price for parking is now 4.000 COP (normal car) and entry still 3.000 COP/pp.
